So - I was just watching the weekly SEC pre-game show (college football) on which Tim is a regular panelist. They were talking about the popular team of the day and one of the other hosts joked that he always wanted to be popular. And then Timmy breaks into song: "Pop-u-lar, he wants to be pop-u-oo-lar" (from Wicked, Kristin Chenowith). How many bona fide football jocks would know that reference? (More than will admit it, for sure)

Yesss, I know you don't have to be a "friend of Dorothy" (or Lady Gaga) to know and love Broadway musicals, but if it quacks like a duck....

Please hold the hate....just found it cute and interesting.

There’s been a number of times where Tim’s “tastes” and references veer into stereotypical “gay” guy. There’s been many times he’s appeared effeminate in his voice and mannerisms. While his courtship and marriage do seem a bit suspect. It is indeed highly unlikely that he isn’t “queer”/isn’t in the gender, sexual, romantic, affection, comfort, emotional investment, relationship ambition, commitment spectrum. But ultimately, he is in a hetero marriage. He is very religious and comes from a very religious family. He likely has Conservative leaning politics. And we also don’t really know if he’s contended with/is contending with internalized phobias, fluidity or contradictions or mental health issues or what his overall preferences and leanings are or if wants to legit be with a guy. So, it’s probably best to just leave the subject alone for now.

I don't think many know that Tim doesn't just come from a religious family. His father is an extreme, evangelical Baptist with beliefs such as women should be subservient to men and not work but be housewives and raise the family. Tim was homeschooled. He has most likely been taught his entire life that homosexuality is an abomination. I agree he sets off the Gaydar in a big way but I don't believe he has ever or will ever act on that. Maybe this recent post is more telling. Screenshot 2021-09-25 140201.jpg

He was Aaron Hernandez college roommate and apparently Aaron openly hit on guys whenever he would get really drunk.

I don’t trust random “rumors” from his college days. While we don’t really know what he has and hasn’t “acted” on. Just like we don’t quite know the dimensions of his sexuality, preferences, fluidity, where is in the overall spectrum. I will say that it is very unlikely that he’s anywhere near a regular “straight” guy. And I’m guessing it’s unlikely that he has strong feelings or preferences towards women sexually, romantically, comfort wise, emotional investment wise, commitment wise. He still seems to be operating like he’s still single. It’s likely all about religion, family, sociology and ego.

The combination of being hyper religious, coming from a hyper religious and Conservative and likely homophobic/anti-gay family, growing up in sports, having mostly religious followers/supports, perhaps some mental health issues and normal shit like masculine insecurities, fragile ego, internalized phobias- this all will keep him from ever being “out” publicly or legit being with someone of his sex. I’m thinking that he probably thought quickly and randomly trying to be with a woman, get married and trying to have a kid or two would make everything better, and it hasn’t. I’m also thinking that’s partly why he tried to get in the NFL again, attempting to give himself another distraction and something else to focus on. It’s also unlikely that his wife doesn’t know what’s up. However, we have seen somewhat similar dudes “come around” quickly. So, who knows?

It all is what it is.

Tebow doesn't drink or at least he didn't in college. I also don't believe AH hit on guys at Florida. He was super, super DL

Aaron was known to constantly walk around naked in the locker rooms to show off in front of his teammates. He was known to constantly talk about dick with his teammates. It seems some people in his life kinda figured something was up with him. Maybe they just thought he was crazy. Don’t know how he was on college though.

A guy can be DL and even homophobic but still indulge some homo-eroticism quite openly. Some guys weird in that way. Tim’s issues seem to mostly have to do with being hardcore religious and coming from a hardcore religious family. Aaron’s issues seemed very much about childhood traumas, toxic masculinity, mental health issues, maybe not knowing to deal with fluidity or contradictions uncertainties and eventually brain damage. The fact that he went from being this semi effeminate kid uninterested in sports to this hyper masculine, gang affiliating, gun-toting football player is quite a telling arc.

Tebow has set off my Gaydar in a huge way since he was in college. I honestly like the guy. Not in a sexual way either. Seems like a good dude. But I think it's one of those situations with him where it's so buried for various reasons that he doesn't even realize it. He would never act on it. Getting married is just the thing he believes he has to do but didn't want to do. And it was getting on in years now so I bet someone (probably daddy) mentioned something about it and he jumped on it. I remember reading this article about him where he said he took forever trying to find the right color arch thing to go with the decor. And no. I'm sorry dude, but no. No straight guy is going to spend more that 5 seconds thinking about such a thing. And I'd be willing to bet the poor guy needs the little blue pill to get it done with the wife.

Hernandez. There's a lot to unpack there. None of it excuses what he did which I've seen some people (not here) try and claim. I never liked him or thought he was attractive. And that's not just because I can't stand the Pats.

Erections aren’t the be-all of sexuality. There’s a surprising amount of dudes who can probably get hard more consistently for chicks but still have homosexual preferences and/or are gay-leaning when it comes to the sexual, romantic, affection, comfort, emotional investment, commitment spectrum. I will say that if I’m being honest Timmy does give me basic homosexual and overall homo-leaning in the spectrum vibes.
