Hello!
I use stable diffusion through the web UI. Say I have a photo of *myself*, standing in front of a mirror with no shirt on, but I'm wearing pants. I try to use inpaint on just my pants and change it so it is a pic of me standing in my underwear, but it never seems to work well. Does anyone have any tips on using stable diff to replace my pants in the photo with just underwear? Perhaps any tips on prompt generation, denoising, and negative reinforcement prompts? I'm stuck on this. Happy to share my progress with you if you would like to see, though it isn't great.

Well, sounds obvious--either use more precise prompts to generate a new one or improve your InPainting. Using prompts - NB: with proper tensors, e.g. VirileReality -, problems can often be solved by first telling the system the intended body will be naked, then adding something like "wearing white cotton briefs". Prompts like "wearing only ***" may also work fine (I'm attaching two samples with "Man, 35yo, hairy, wearing only white cotton briefs, standing in front of mirror, smiling').

Using InPainting, I would refer you to another post of mine here:

Hope this helps!
