He's probably gay...Swift is a professional beard.
I just watched him in "I saw the light" and he was wonderful. He did his own singing (story of Hank Williams) and he really nailed it. Maybe an Oscar nomination?

Nah, a professional beard is a woman (or in the case of Alexander Skarsgard, a man for lesbians) who is contracted to act as the love interest for a gay man. Bearding relationships are pure PR to full the public into believing the man is straight. PR relationships are common, gay and straight, bearding and straight, they have been for a very long time. Hell, Rock Hudson was one of the most famous. Debbie Reynolds was a beard at one time.
You would think we have advanced enough to not have that any more. But then again a gayy actor who wants to play straight sexual roles with women thinks he can't come out. That's crazy, but that's the way it is with some people.
