Random question, but it’s just happened so I’m addressing it in case someone has answers.

Why do people respond to a post and have nothing additional to offer. The post above as an example. It’s a response to a post, no comment, no additional text or photos or links or anything. What is the purpose of this?

It’s frustrating to get notifications in a thread and it’s this!

Calling it out because 1. It’s annoying and contributes nothing to the site and 2. Because I genuinely want to know why some people do this?

I thought i added something to the post omfg. Idk why it didn't show up.

Also, can't you set notifications to image post only?

Yeah, you can. But I like reading what people have to say. In your case it was nothing. And it happens a lot and I don’t understand why there are empty posts. Hence asking the questions.
That sucks that you actually wrote something but nothing posted. Maybe that’s what’s happening across the site? That’s confusing. Maybe some mods can help with that because that’s a crappy user experience for all. If that’s the case.

Yea, i agree. My apologies for annoying you, you still lowkey sound upset with me which sucks but nothing else i can do
 
I had the hots for Tom Segura very recently after watching one of his standup reels on Facebook (yes you heard that right, Facebook.). And he immediately gave off scruffy bear David Harbour vibes for horny little 'ol me. A hot man. Sexy eyes and dare I say a "pretty mouth.". And very funny which totally ramps up his sex appeal tenfold.
