I seem to remember reading somewhere that one of the Property Brothers was once Tom's double on Smallville

They are not, there are several statements he made. The photo of the lake, for example, is one of the property brothers, the twins who have a renovation program, who were Tom's stunt double for a few seasons.

There's an episode of Talkville where he says this.

I wish more of his modelling work was online, although saying that some of the ones posted here are new to me so thanks @mateo.fdl . I'm pretty sure he did at least one Abercrombie campaign, and you know how they tended to be back in the day.
