Well, he did lose the role of Jacob from Twilight to Taylor Lautner, which is an interesting indicative about his acting skills LOL.
All jokes aside, I do like the guy, he's very charismatic but he was very lucky to have Dylan O'Brien and the rest of the TW cast to do the heavy lifting. Most of his dramatic scenes in TW were very cringe worthy. He doesn't have any range, that's not necessarily a bad thing, many successful actors always play a variation of the same role and are doing just fine.
Bella Thorne situation goes beyond of being a celebrity that joined OF. She said that she joined the platform to make some investigation for a future movie she’s working on and then charged a lot of people $200 for a non nude picture she was telling people was indeed a nude.
Not only did she scammed a lot of her own fans to what seems to be her wanting to make a quick buck, but the platform had to change their policies and that screwed a lot of people that have OF as their main source of income (keep in mind that not all of the performers have other a full time job or even a side job and the pandemic only made it worse) and that’s what caused the backlash
But that’s the same thing they all do... people are just made that Bella made more money off of it.
