Because it's a silly thing to care about.
I understand your point, and I would agree with you normally. However, it's not unusual or strange to wonder or be curious about a porn star's sexuality or sexual proclivities, especially when that person has been marketed a certain way, but engages in activities that may contradict said marketing.

My take is "did you get aroused?", "Did they want to suck dick like right now?", "Did they make you want your hole filled?" "Did you find them or the scene hot?!" then why does it matter if they are gay or not?!
Understood. I think there is a difference between simply inquiring about someone's sexuality versus taking an extreme action or being obsessive, which I do not believe the person who posed the question did. In an ideal world, no one questions anyone or is ever curious about another person's sexuality, dating history, sexual activities, general life, etc. However, it happens and the basis of Tyler's fame was grounded in being a porn star.
