The use of "cock rings" as a supplement to these exercises may help alleviate erectile dysfunction (ED). The objective of the cock ring in this case is to "train" the penis into staying erect for a longer amount of time.

It's been proven that men who have more frequent erections usually have fewer incidents of ED.

To use a cock ring, insert your unerect penis into the ring, push the ring all the way to the base of your penis, and stimulate yourself to erection.

The ring will prevent the backflow of blood, and you should achieve a rock hard erection that should not go away until tension is released

WARNING! You MUST use a cock ring that you can remove immediately if you have to! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you use a metal or hard, unfastenable cock ring!

You could cause permanent injury your penis if you are unable to remove the ring in time!

Start off with a session of 5-10 minutes, and work up to an hour or so at full erection.

Some guys like to wear their ring all day with a semi-erection. If you are going to do this, make sure that you make frequent checks to ensure that you're not cutting off circulation.

Many men swear that the regular use of a cock ring will also increase the length and girth of your penis through forced expansion of the corpora and corpus.

A cock ring can be brought from adult novelty stores, or you can improvise and create your own out of a thin leather strap or a rubber washer.

so far, so good...

It's been proven that men who have more frequent erections usually have fewer incidents of ED.

by whom?

we're sliding off the rails here...
i've used cock rings FOR YEARS. described above is a shaft ring, and only does part of the work, and is less effective than a ring than encloses all of the package, cock and balls. quoting from JT's Stockroom's page:

There is a trick to putting cock rings on, and taking them off. Here's how it works:
1. Pull the scrotal skin through the ring.
2. Follow this by popping the balls through.
3. Now bend the penis down and pull it through the ring.

You'll find that following these steps will make getting the ring on much easier. To take it off, simply reverse the steps, pushing the cock back through the ring first, followed by the balls and finally the scrotal skin. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you not use a ring that is too small. To find the diameter of a snug-fitting ring, measure the distance around the cock and balls (at the base, behind the scrotum), and then divide by 3.1. Don't go smaller than that-- you don't want to get stuck. (Cock Rings, Cock Toys, and Penis Pumps from JT's Stockroom Catalog)

The ring will prevent the backflow of blood, and you should achieve a rock hard erection that should not go away until tension is released

rock hard? some do, some don't. cock rings help, but there are a LOT of other factors involved...

WARNING! You MUST use a cock ring that you can remove immediately if you have to! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you use a metal or hard, unfastenable cock ring!

hysteria and nonsense. i've used solid metal rings for more than a decade. yes, as JT's site describes it, it's very important to get a ring that fits correctly. the adjustable ones are ok, but i've had a lot better results from the mean ol' solid rings, either out of neoprene or better still, aluminum or steel--look much hotter TOO!

You could cause permanent injury your penis if you are unable to remove the ring in time!

this is mostly correct, although we're not exactly talking tournequets here....

Start off with a session of 5-10 minutes, and work up to an hour or so at full erection.

most folks that i have read, say no more than 45 min or so...

Some guys like to wear their ring all day with a semi-erection. If you are going to do this, make sure that you make frequent checks to ensure that you're not cutting off circulation.

i wouldn't, but as always on the internet, ymmv...

Many men swear that the regular use of a cock ring will also increase the length and girth of your penis through forced expansion of the corpora and corpus.

haven't a clue whether this is true, myth, or somewhere in between...

A cock ring can be brought from adult novelty stores, or you can improvise and create your own out of a thin leather strap or a rubber washer.

my suggestion would be to get a set of neoprene (rubber) rings from JT's or another sex toy shop. figure out what size works best (most folks seem to fall between 1.75 and 2", although in this crowd, perhaps 2.25"...), and just enjoy playing...

Any urologist will tell you that you need to “use it or lose it”. If you’re not getting regular erections, your penis will suffer through disuse atrophy just like most any other organ in the human body would. A lack of quality erections can be further aggravated by psychological impotence (the subject is aware that he has erectile problems so he’ll start to suffer anxiety in sexual encounters, which will further hurt his erections) producing a negative feedback loop.

I was referring to a “cock” ring (see the image linked below). I’m aware that a lot of men prefer to wrap the ring around their penis and testes.

It’s obvious that you have a lot of experience with cock rings, but most men don’t, nor will they get as involved with these devices at the same level that you are. A lot of the men involved in penis enlargement like to experiment with herbal viagra and things of that nature, so they may not be able to reach a flaccid state quick enough for an emergency release. I like to focus more on the conservative side of things for safety reasons, so for men like these, a simple rubber or adjustable leather cock rings will do.

Sounds good

Here's a reply I received regarding this article:

Re: Using "Cock Rings" for penis enlargement and to treat erectile dysfunction

Hi again Big Al. Good information about the cockring. However, as a long
time user of medically approved cockrings (they like to call them
Tension Rings...) I suggest avoiding purchasing cockrings from an adult
store. I can tell you from experience that there are no cockrings or
cockstraps in adult stores that begin to compare to medical cockrings.
The rings in adult stores are either 'too stretchy' or hard,
non-stretchable material. Cockstraps do not begin to compare to the
medial tension rings. Save your money.

In addition to the tension ring, I also use a 'ballring' to further
enhance the hardness of my erection and to maintain my erection for a
half hour at a time. At 71 yrs. old these medical tension rings, along
with stimulation of my perineum, allows me to enjoy sexual relations
daily. But without the rings, I am unable to stimulate or maintain an
erection. Viagra, etc. do not help because my problem, along with
millions of others, is Venous Leakage, not inadequate bloodflow.
Big Al, you gave really good advice to say "avoid hard rings" like
plastic or O-rings. Hospital ER staff can attest to having to cut hard
rings off that can't be removed with lube.

With your approval, I can be reached on my email address in case anyone
would like more information about obtaining these Medical Tension
cockrings or can post that info here at your request. Robin
