Vasectomy!

Got it done in Jan' 06. One of the best things I've ever done. Was sore for about a week.

Be sure to get tested until you get the all clear from the doctor. I had to get test four times because the little guys kept showing up. It was alway 5 or 10 non-motile. Finally got clear sample and the fun began! :)

I had this done, and I am very glad I did. Nothing like it. I was out of the saddle for about a week or so, and then for the next week I was rather tender. But let me tell you, not having to worry about birth control was great. My wife appreciated it also. Very much so. No condoms and all of that. Besides, we felt that my wife taking the pill was not good for the long haul. Less drugs in you the better. It is great not worrying about when I can or when I can't have sex. And riding bareback all the time is just supper. I felt it was well worth it.
The only drawback was having to go to the doctor's office and jacking off into a cup. But hey, what the heck. They see it all day long.

With a vascetomy ... you will no longer be able to have sperm in the ejaculate material (or so is the intention).

You will still have prostate secretions which is past the vas deferens on the way to the urethral meatus.

so...
sperm NO
prostate secretions YES

LongNights

I don't think I could ever go through with it. I'd feel like my purpose as a bloke was gone.

The idea frightens the Hell out of me too. I'd feel like I was castrated. Congratulations to you for going through with it!

So I just got a vasectomy yesterday. Any other guys here who've done it...? or thinking about it?
Wow! They let you do that so young? How many children do you have?

LMAO Swimming Lad, your purpose as a man is not to impregnate women; but to win the gold for your country in the 400m butterfly. Didn't you get the memo?:biggrin1:

Hey guys with a vasectomy, i have had this question i've been dying to ask you,
Do you have less cum? No, they do not. Is it more clear or still whitish?
Only man I have been with that had a vasectomy was a heavy cummer. Have no idea what his cum was like prior to getting snipped. Hmm, err, well you see . . . uhmm, it was very rare that his cum wasn't swallowd by me or placed directly into my vaginal canal. I honestly have no idea what it looked like.:wink:

I think it's a good idea for males to get done after they are done breeding.
As do I Think_Kink, Actually I think stupid men should get snipped in high school to prevent them from breeding.

No it should appear just the same colour and same quantity rbh, my ex husband had a vasectomy, he was sore for about a week but not off his feet, he took two days off work.

Oh, we had sex the day he had it done and every day for about the following two weeks, I don't know what's recommended now but he was told the more he had sex the more quickly his sperm sample would be devoid of tadpoles :)

I share this site with another and he had it done after his second child was born. It really was not too much to be concerned about. That was several years ago and no problems and he shoots really good. He's bi so it is an extra safety valve for protection from getting some woman preggers. The doc taped the dick across his belly and shaved real good. Then made the insission. Intense burning for about a minute then over. His dick and balls turned black!

i had a vasectomy in late May 1990(age 38), did everything the doctor told me to do. by late July my right nut was bigger than my fist. I went back to the doctor and they drained it, 24 hrs later it was back. He told me I had a hydrocell, a bag within a bag. I knew draining it was not going to help long term, so I got a 2nd opinion, and in Jan 1991 they cut my right nut open and removed the hydrocell. so i got zipper nuts!!!!

about 4 yrs later my wife had to have an emergency hysterectomy due to one of her ovaries had burst. she had endometriosis(spelling?) a non cancer fiberous growth in some womens reproductive systems. so there is no way we are having anymore kids.

after a month, my wife blew me and jacked me into a ziplock and we took it in. no sperm. my cum was clearer and reduced by about a 1/3. I heard that it was very common for the tubes to grow back together after about 10 yrs. I haven't had a sperm check because what's the point, the wife's plumbing is gone. But my jizz is whiter now, and I shoot as big a load as I ever did. I think my tubes grew back together. I think it's been about 4 years since they grew back together. the wife commented after jacking me about the volume and white color.

Even though I had problems with my vasectomy, it was nice not to have to use condoms and worry about them ripping. that is what happened and resulted in son #3. that is why I got a vasectomy. also my wife did not want to go back on the pill. it made her gain weight and after 3 kids she struggled to lose weight, and didn't need the pill working against her.

After her hysterectomy, things were really running smooth, no monthly period, she lost weight, her appetite for sex took off again. it was like she was 20 all over again. but a couple years after the hysterectomy, her hormones or the lack of them, fucked with her head and her body. so she takes all these pills and sleeps a lot and has almost no sex drive. she services me because she knows or suspects I will go elsewhere if I don't get it at home. she has gained a lot of weight and tries to lose it, but it just stays. a lot of middle aged women have the same problem. her friend is going thru the same thing.

Ain't life grand!!

If your jizz is white after the vasectomy what makes it white if it's not the sperm? Does sperm have a color? Is there a doctor in the house?

It should be the same colour, consistency and appearance after a vasectomy, perhaps this was a change that was caused by something else, does cum alter with age? Vasectomies can fail even after 20 years.

I have nothing but respect for men who undergo the procedure to prevent unwanted conception. Married, single or whatever. If he's in a relationship, he frees up his partner from having to use hormone or device interventions to prevent conception...I think that's an especially great thing....women's reproductive systems have had to go through so much tinkering to avoid pregnancies. Also, it can be reversed if circumstances in a man's life change and he wants to impregnate a woman again. Some guys have the mistaken idea that it's castration! It just blocks the sperm cells from mixing with the rest of the ejaculate, the 'load' doesn't change otherwise. AND, nothing interferes with the transmission of testerone. That white, gooey stuff is still there. The men who want every load to be able to make a woman pregnant have that point of view about their manliness and shouldn't be demonized, but women who do not want to conceive should watch out!

I had a vasectomy 31 years ago when I was 27, we knew that having kids was not an option with my wifes inability to deal with children based on her lousy family life.

It took about 2 weeks for full use/recovery, not much pain involved, felt like a little boy after I shaved off the pubes pre-op, my ejaculate was and still is a combination of clear and white fluid and we did not notice a decline in volume.
