Vast number of claims reporting over 8 inch penis sightings?

I have been surfing the net lately, especially regarding penis size. I have noticed that somehow many women and men encounter or state they have seen or touched a penis bigger than 8 inches. At first I thought it was possible, but none of these people's claims provide pictures of their encounter. Now I for one would allow a chick to take a picture of my cock. Why would other guys not do the same, and I am not even 8 inches.

What are your thoughts on these claims?

Easy, it's exaggerated claims and poor measuring.

My ex told me she had an 11" boyfriend before me, and when she saw my penis told me how much bigger I was than him. When I showed her I was just over 8 inches, correctly measured, she was blown away. People just have a terrible sense of measurement, and porn producers aim for the bigger impressive numbers that keep the cycle going. I would not want to be photographed (even without face), because I know/think that the pic would wind up online. Also, when I'm hooking up with someone, I wouldn't think "wow, this guy is allegedly 8 inches! I need to get a ruler and my camera phone". I'd be busy having sex. I think your expectations are too far from the norm.

I use my own tape measurer, my hand. Fully extended, it's 8 inches (giver or take a quarter inch) from tip of the middle finger to the line of my inner wrist. I can count on one hand (pardon the pun) the number of cocks encountered in my lifetime longer than this, and just barely.

There have been countless threads on this topic on here, and there are plenty of empirical studies showing what a small percentile of men are truly this large. There was a time when I was out looking to see and compare mine to "well endowed" men. I sought out guys who claimed to be well hung. My findings were virtually all of the dozen I actually met up with exaggerated.

What's up with not just this thread, but others as well, where just because you haven't seen something, you think those who have must be incorrect? Unless you're a girl or a gay man, and you sleep around quite a bit, of course you're unlikely to see a dick bigger than 8 inches. Sure, you may get lucky, but luck isn't necessary when your numbers start getting into the hundreds, especially when you consider that dick size statistics should perhaps not be normally distributed.
