A Rich Friend of Bob Mizer from San Francisco came to visit him and brought a date who was a Man named Bob Chandler. (First photo) The Man named Bob Chandler was also from San Francisco and he had a serious criminal record that Bob Mizer did not know about at that time. The rich man was willing to make a large cash donation to Mizer to run AMG if Bob Mizer would allow his date Bob Chandler to model for him and make a short film. This Bob Chandler had a lot of Prison Tattoos from doing time in Prisons. Mizer did allow San Francisco Bob Chandler to pose for him and make a short film and Mizer got his large cash donation from his wealthy friend.
At around the same period of time but not on the same exact day there was another Bob Chandler from Los Angeles posing for Bob Mizer. This Bob Chandler was the famous USC/ Buffalo Bills FootBall Player who would later on pose for PlayGirl.(2nd Photo) He did not have any Tattoos and had never done time in Prison. Because these 2 Men had the same name some Vintage Physique sites got the 2 different Men confused and thought they were the same person. They were not. The photo on the LEFT is San Francisco Bob Chandler and the Photo on the Right is LA FootBall Player Bob Chander.
Remember him from some article. Tough guy. So good to look at.

BOB KOLINSKI posed for Chuck Renslow of KRIS of Chicago. BOB KOLINSKI sometimes makes the lists of the Top 10 favorite Vintage Physique Models by serious collectors. However since BOB never posed fully frontal nude I consider him to be "worthy of mention" and not a true top 10. Just my opinion.

MIKE BRADBURN by Chuck Renslow of KRIS of Chicago in 1964. MIKE just had everything --he was an intelligent JOCK from the MidWest and was attractive just doing ordinary things. MIKE was in several short films for KRIS and never did the West Coast Studio scene. MIKE BRADBURN sometimes makes the lists of the Top 10 favorite Vintage Physique Models by some serious collectors. A personal favorite of mine. "Cabin in the Woods" was great because of MIKE BRADBURN with Ron Renslow.

The editorial notes explain that Danny Durnell's pose for AMG was inspired by paintings of the execution of Saint Peter. (Peter requested to be crucified upside down, as he felt unworthy to die in the same manner as Christ.
