Vitiligo

Does anyone else have vitiligo on their hole? My partner first noticed a patch on and around my hole a few years ago after we had been sunbathing naked on the beach - I guess everything else around it had gone brown making it show up! I don't know whether I've always had it, or whether it's more recent. I suffer with ulcerative colitis, and wonder whether somehow the two are linked.

It doesn't bother me, but it does seem a
little unusual.

I got it on my face last year. Very difficult to manage or clear up if it’s even possible.

It's quite possible that the two are linked as both are autoimmune disorders.

I suggest you get it checked by a professional (dermatologist) as it could be just a type of skin fungus.
Usually associated with summertime and increased humidity, as well as increased use of oils (tanning oils for instance),
Tinea Vesicolor could have the appearance of "vitiligo".
Usually treated with anti-dandruff or fungus shampoo (such as Nizoral).

It is possible that it may be vitiligo as it can occur in the rectal area but fungal infection must be ruled out. I agree with the post by torched999

Yes. It looks like a beautiful pink flower complimenting my beautiful round and brown bottom when I spread my cheeks.
