I have a question for the women here on waxing. My girlfriend loves to have her pussy waxed (she used to have a full bush, but when her esthetician suggested a Brazilian, she did it and got hooked). Is getting waxed "addicting? Also, she doesn't wax the anus, I wonder if this is "normal"?

What the hell is “normal” about ripping off a secondary sexual characteristic?

I wax my eyebrows, nothing “addicting” about it. By the very nature of what addiction is.
But also in popular parlance, it isn’t something you cannot do without, but rather a new maintenance chore.

I go in, have an agreement not to tease the esthetician by wearing shorts or anything sleeveless, since I leave all the rest of my hair untouched, and get some hair ripped off in a questionably ethical manner. (In the waste sense)
We also swap horrid client nightmare stories, leaving out any and all identifying info.
Things like the free bleeder who likes going allllllllll bare, and goes during the flow.

I don't have much to say about waxing. Don't know many who do. It, like shaving seems to be one of those "you get in the habit of doing it" things. Addicting? Not unless she's an actual masochist, and the pain does it for her. Habit forming? Probably.

Normal isn't a good way to try to figure something out. What's normal for one is abnormal for another, even if one just looks at say, just women in California. Not saying that to be snarky, but "normal" is subjective as heck.

Not addicting, but one does find a favourite way of hair removal. I like sugaring. Less pain than waxing, just as long-lasting, and I can do it at home. I like the way my skin feels afterwards. Some women really like Brazilians because they say it makes them feel “cleaner”. Who knows? Is it normal? Apparently, it is for your girlfriend. Not waxing the anus is personal choice.

Asked last night what my guy thought of me potentially removing fuzz on the peach fish.

one very emphatic no.

however, since I do occasionally de fuzz legs or pits, wax/sugaring seems attractive for the no stubble aspect. Plus a razor goes dull when used twice a year. Wasteful.

I miss waxing. It is too expensive right now and I cannot afford the luxury. I always leave most of the hair, just clearing my labia. I usrd to trim the rest short, but it is so sparse it looks bald, and I do not like that. I do, when I wax, remove hair from the crack. These days I shave the crack, epillate my labia and the perimeter of my bush, and shave whatever got missed. It is breathtakingly painful, but that little machine cost me as much as getting waxed twice, and I have been slowly using it on more and more of my body for maybe 3 years now. At first I could barely stand to do it on my face and armpits. Now, those areas are a cakewalk. It does not hurt any less, I'm just used to how excruciatingly painful it is. I do not like stubble, and the associated itching, so the torture device once every 6-8 weeks is king. But if money was no object? Right back to the aestherician. Immediately. I'm not addicted, I just like to be totally smooth where I want to be totally smooth, and to remain so for as long as possible.

I loved the feeling of a fresh wax and that my hair didn’t get wiry growing back. But I got tired of paying $70 a pop and getting terrible waxes. So I’ve resorted back to shaving.

I don’t think addiction is a fitting word.

I'm done with that thanks to laser epilation 3 years ago. It took me a while back then with multiple sessions but it turned out to be the best aesthetic investment of my life. No more apres red week maintenance. Just a few upkeep sessions once a year and I am silky.

Addicting may have been too strong of a word. She is defiantly hooked on the smooth feeling. She has (had) a very hairy pussy. She used to hate even trimming it for her swimsuits. But she waxed it before Valentines day and hasn't looked back. She keeps bugging me to get waxed, but where she goes they don't do men.

As a trained esthetician, it just is better for some folks as far as not getting ingrown hairs or having rashes or other skin sensitivity reactions. It also keeps things smooth longer without stubble. Addictive? Well, maybe a preferred method for many for that reason. Including myself. What one chooses to wax or not wax is a personal decision for the waxee. What the esthetician is willing to wax is also a personal decision. Some wont wax men for example. Some will wax men everywhere but their nether regions. It makes them uncomfortable. I, on the other hand, was never bothered waxing men. I'm still not sure I understand the question but I hope you understand my attempts at answering them.
