So guys, get this, I recently purchased a few pairs of men's compression tights similar to the image attached (which is not me by the way) and I wear them around the house a lot, especially when I'm working from home and when I have nowhere to go and no errands to run. I find them extremely comfortable and stretchy, good for moving, bending, working out or whatever and I think I look fairly good in them.

I live in a condo, and I wear them when I have to take the garbage out, or when I'm going to check my mail. I don't really run into many people inside my building so I feel fairly confident that I won't necessarily be seen depending on the time of day. I don't wear underwear under them, so if my dick wants to move around on its own, it's free to do so.

Last week I decided to wear them to the grocery store for the first time but I have to tell you what happened. So I get to the underground parking lot, and walk into the store, not really noticing anyone staring or gawking, went and did my shopping and when I got in line to the checkout, everything was fine until I think I heard someone in the checkout adjacent to the one I was in say, "That's disgusting!". Now, I can't be sure anyone said this, and I didn't acknowledge or go looking for anyone around me who might have said this, it only sounded like this is what someone said that I thought I heard. I didn't think anything of it but what I thought I heard has been on my mind for a number of days now and I want to wear these in more and more places whenever I go out, but I don't know if I can handle the negative comments from those who think a man wearing these is "disgusting". Once was enough, but that hasn't discouraged me from wearing them in other places. A day or two after that, I went to Home Depot, and the liquor store, and one lady in the line at the liquor store had a look, but didn't say anything. It's kind of exhilarating to wear these outdoors while driving, shopping or doing other things.

People have to get over this stigma attached to men wearing tights as a comfort thing being disgusting. It's not, in my personal opinion, and if I'm not doing anything overtly sexual or walk around with a boner, I don't see why anyone shouldn't be able to wear whatever they want to in public and not be judged for doing so. I mean, look at women who wear tights as every day wear and nobody bats an eye. So why can't men do it? I'd love to eventually replace my jeans with tights but unfortunately I can't wear tights to work.

Do any of you have any issues with guys wearing tights as every day wear? And what would you say if someone said you were disgusting while you were standing in line at the grocery store?

Is it OK to wear these anywhere I want? I know you guys are great, and full of encouragement and I think I just need someone to tell me it's OK.

Thanks guys,
Dan

I totally understand what your saying, I have wear tights to the groceries store, but with a long t shirt over it, but since none even noticed me. then I worked a shorter shirt so i can display my big bulge, and yes I had some reactions from people. what bud interesting is more negative reactions are from woman, then from man, I never heir any anything nasty or derogatory comentarios at loud, but some faces distorted with a disgusting expresión in them. but again not very pretty woman or young.. big other ages and looks .. it was one guy he did not hide the joy he showed wen his eyes lock at my crotch … ! I wore some almost silver like the ones under here also kit me (I wish) I got the pic from the brand’s website, and I’m wearing them anywhere I can. I work from home, only have to go to Court for my clients or a Cosultations at a conference room I rent, so not there evidently .. but I love them and I wish every man would wear them. and also I don’t care what people think.. !

I suppose I have to get over the fear of being ridiculed or have nasty comments thrown at me, but like you said, why should I care what other people think? I could always come back with "I just came from the gym" or something, just to throw them off the track.

Maybe I'm a little more sensitive to what people think of me and it's going to take a little while to get over that. Really, they don't know me and I don't know them - and if they think it's "disgusting", they don't have to look, right?

If ur comfortable, screw what anyone else says,u said it urself, they don't know you,so its there issue..go for it..u look great in em ;)

They look good. Just ignore them and if you hear it again look them in the eyes and say “Sorry? Did you say something?” That gives you a moment to formulate a response if they have the eggs to actually acknowledge they said something. Then you can calmly stand up for men’s rights with something poignant...you know…something like “That doesn’t seem like you’re a very nice person. Did I say anything to make you feel awkward about the bags under your eyes or those big saggy tits you apparently like to show too much of?” Then just be quiet and let them either walk away or turn into a Karen. Lol. Either one would be fun to watch.

Thanks, but wow, you've got guts... I'd probably choose to just ignore them and move on without creating any kind of conflict. I mean, I don't know them, they don't know me, so why should I take the time to acknowledge them? I'm getting to a point though that I don't care what anyone thinks of me. If they don't think me wearing my tights is appropriate, they don't have to look.

This summer I lost some weight and went back to wearing 6" & 7" inseam shorts in public.

Only once do I think I heard someone make a negative comment, while I was sitting near them. When sitting, you can see a lot of my thighs, and I think some insecure dude made a comment to his gf.

I didn't give a shit though, I tan so I know that thigh looked delicious. :joy:

Men wearing tights in my country is still a weird thing since people always thought tights are for women only. Anyways, I usually wear tights under shorts when traveling, especially those heat tights, they cover my lower half just enough to not get too cold. People still gives me looks when they see I'm wearing one, especially when my shorts are riding high on my thighs and realize I'm wearing tights. Since then, I never attempted to wear just tights since the overwhelming looks I got from wearing them under shorts is alr too much. I love wearing them indoors tho, so comfy and covers me without getting to hot.

Agree. Women wear these all. the. time. Everywhere. It's acceptable. Yet way less acceptable for men. It's the Spandex Ceiling for men.

Keep at it. You'll gain courage. I don't love clingy clothing, but otherwise I'd wear them, too.

Before the 20th Century in the USA and Canada, male skin exposure came and went in fashion or acceptability; but seldom was the shape of any body part deliberately hidden, and in some periods it was highly desirable to emphasize parts. In the Regency period men showed off their hose-covered calves while covering their upper hosiery with a baggy overgarment. In the 19th Century trousers fell just short of modern tights, leaving no doubt to anyone the shape and endowment of a man. Modern tailored clothing may emphasize genitalia less, but even so still hides no bulge not bound by tighty whities.

Let the prudish be prudish. Ignore them as your laws permit. Unfortunately there are active laws in some US states that prohibit vpl, though in various contexts the laws are unenforceable, e.g. certain sports gear like competition swimsuits or dance performances. Seldom are these laws enforced unless someone complains. It's weird that fashion in the Americas come the mid-to-late 20th Century shifted to dick inconspicuousness. Perhaps it was the supertight pants of the "Sexual Revolution" that empowered the prudish. By the 1980s one seldom saw a bulge at a beach or pool, instead covered by those baggy shorts that absolutely suck for swimming. My experience in the 80s was that any guy wanting to emphasize a bulge wore the appropriate denim jeans, but come the 90s all men's fashion was oversized except upper body musclewear.

Fashion changes in the last few decades were the odd blip. Screw the people that would continue the oppression. :) Wear what you want if you're comfortable. I, for one, haven't had the courage; but that's really ONLY because I'm hyper-self-conscious, can't stand to be the center of attention—even if odds are not a single person looks at me. That's my psychological issue and might not even have applied to my own vpl had I not grown up in the 70s and 80s when kids and parents negativized it (despite watching Solid Gold dancers, lol), and anti-porn activists effectively hypersexualized ordinary bodies by their vociferous efforts to desexualize public spaces.

Get back to reality. Nature is. Wear what you want. If they don't like it perhaps they should create or move to an enclave where the rules are stricter, as is so for both Amish and nudist communities.

Yoga pants = God's gift to women Tights = God's give to men I LOVE seeing nice female ass in yoga pants and don't get me started on a camel toe  Bulges and nice legs on a guy have a similar effect. If you've got the body for it definitely go for it. My wife hates when I go out of the house in tights or clingy gym shorts, so only do it when I'm running errands solo. Get looks now and then but haven't every heard any neg comments, except from my Mrs LOL

I once heard someone state that it seem the world has become afraid of the male form. It actually so laughable. Like if men dont have penises then where did the little ones come from. Lol. I wear tights in the fall and winter all the time. I run and they are great for staying warm and yes they are extremely comfortable. Some if the guys i work with have seen me in them and have busted my stones. I never let it bother me. I worked as a welder for government contractor back then. I still didn't care. I certainly dont look like an Adonis either. I have reached a point i cant spend anymore time worry what others think. Lord knows my wife can't keep her hands off me. Had a bf that was always quick to grab and rub them too. I think its like a lot of things. If you dont make a big deal out of it most people wont either. Yes there are always prudes but i feel that its more about them then me. Enjoy your tights my friends :)
