my girlfriend has put on at least 30 lbs. My question is, does being around people who are overweight contribute to another person gaining weight?
About a year ago, my girlfriend got a job in a small office. She works with two other women who are both very heavy. Since then, my girlfriend has put on at least 30 lbs. My question is, does being around people who are overweight contribute to another person gaining weight?
I do not know that if working with a heavy person makes you mroe likely to be heavy. I do know that studies show that after marriage both men and women pay less attention to their bodies and gain pounds. I run 3 miles a day and do 1500 sit ups everyday. I do not want to be heavy, but I am also aware of studies that show college freshmen gain about 30 lbs, due to stress and being away from home for the first time, I fear that this fall.
