Being allergic to the oil in the peelings, I do not eat it. However I know that it is the most common preserve in the UK, and full of vitamin A which is good for the eyesight.

Here in the USA the cheapness equivalent is grape jelly, followed by strawberry. When I was in Sweden it was always lingonberries.
