What means lot. and mfd. ?

    just wanted to know what lot. and mfd. mean on a bottle of capsules
    thx in advance

    MFD stands for manufactured, I'm pretty sure.

    Lot is the lot number. If it's like most things, they are made in batches, and the lot number is simply the number given to that particular batch. MFD is manufactured and is likely a date.

    Lot means Lot number same as batch number. Usually anyway.

    When the marketer issues a recall they sometimes specify lot numbers. That's when you need to look at it.
