If the condom is too tight, get larger condoms! Yes, they'll fit over your arm or your head if you stretch them to ridiculous sizes - but those are really silly comparisons.
Condoms are only supposed to stretch by about 15% when used on your cock. This means that a standard 53 mm condom (which is a 106 mm or 4.2" circumference un-stretched) is ideally suited to a girth of about 122 mm or 4.8" (which is average size).
That same 53 mm condom will be more than *twice* as tight on a cock with a girth of 5.5" - because that's a stretch of 32%. A girth of 5.5" would need a 60 mm condom to have 15% stretch, which is Magnum XL territory.

Yes...that's true. At 5.75" in girth, the Magnum XL does not fit me tight enough. You need to be around at least 6" in girth to get a proper fit.Trojan Magnums are oversized.

I tried the durex XL condoms and they fit too loosely for my comfort. So I tried the durex air wide fit and it fit snugly. Not too tight and not to loose.
At my girth (5.75") it's as if I'm in no man's land. Where the regular size condoms fit way to tight and the XL condoms are a little to loose. There has to be a way to more accurately size condoms. Instead of fitting by trial and error.
use the condom guide. I have a little more than 6” girth and it took me a long time to find the one I liked.
Honestly I haven’t used a condom in quite a long time because I’ve been in a monogamous relationship for a number of years so I don’t remember what the brand was.
I do remember absolutely hating Magnums. They just did not feel good to me. The issue I found wasn’t necessarily how wide the condom was, but its length. I’m 7” long but some of these condoms are like 9” long and that’s great, buuuuut the unused portion that stays rolled up at the base creates a pseudo cock ring. That might feel good, but cock rings when stretched too much tend to slide up the shaft. So when I’d use certain condoms they would creep up my shaft and eventually it would basically fall off.
The flip side, the ones that are wide enough but also don’t do the cock ring effect is basically fuck through them.
