Greetings mortals, because your kind interest me I would like to know, what is your favorite type of weather?
You may have guessed mine from looking at my username and i'm pretty sure you're wrong My favorite weather is actually a grey sky, slightly windy, no rain, no sun, and clouds..it's just something about the "calm before and after the storm" that relaxes me and inspires my artwork and thinking. Funny thing, I was on the phone with my friend-girl and she goes "what's up with this scary weather?" and I say "I know it's beautiful outside" lol she goes "I knew you would be happy with the sky falling" haha but yeah, what type of weather do you have a connection to? You know when you have a connection to a certain type of weather as it will switch your brain into "deep thinking" mode, makes you capable of anything.

I like hot, blue-sky days and nights that are filled with lightening and powerful thunder. Seriously.

I too love that calm before the storm kind of weather. I'm not a fan of extremes in weather. I don't like it above 75 and I don't like it below 65 degrees. I'm partial to 'light sweater weather. Tho I like diff types of weather for diff things.
The other nite I was awoken by a massive thuunder and lightning storm at precisely 2:30 a.m. It was a glorious and massive lightening show as my apt faces west and New Jersey and the sky is all open in my view. Delicious.

I like sunny days that are warm with occasional cool breeze now and then.

After a hot summer afternoon, I like it when it rains and I have all the window fans on and you get that rain cooled breeze to cool off the inside of the house. THAT is amazing.

I don't like winter snow and cold weather. I don't like TOO hot weather. I don't like autumn or winter. Spring and summer seasons are fine. (EVEN though, I suffer allergies in the Spring...I love it when it rains. My allergies do not act up at those times.)

You were just able to explain me better than I could lol I am not a fan of the extremes, that's why I am in love with that perfect mix (the calm) the only negative thing about that type of weather is that it's so rare and it only last a few days at most :frown1: I always draw, write, play music, and go jogging when that type of weather is out.

The electricty in the air at these times sends waves thru you that stimulates creativity and the lack of extreme weather permits you to concentrate and not on how uncomfortable you are. Not that you can't create otherwise but...you know what I mean.

Warm, rainy days. I love to just sit on the porch and listen to the rain hit the tin roof and read/crochet. Time fades away, the rain washes away your worries and the warmth is like a hug that you wish would never let go....

My fave type of weather is warm to hot, no humidity; and a clear blue sky with a smattering of fluffy white clouds and the occasional balmy breeze. :smile:

I also like a crisp, cold day of about 30 degrees F; but only if I am skiing. Otherwise, as far as I am concerned, cold w/o snow has no purpose.

You can't beat a stormy day. My favourite type of weather is strong wind, ideally gale-force, and preferably near the sea where I can sit and watch the waves and let the wind blow through my hair. (It's a pain to brush it out afterwards, but it's worth it.)

Yeah, I like a really terrible Lighting storm everyonce in awhile, that is ofcourse if I dont have anywhere to go.

of course I like good weather, nice blue sky etc. But what I also like are the thunderstorms in summer, the moment where you see dark grey clouds comming too you while the sky above ya is still blue and sunny. That you also see the lightning and hear the thunder.
