I'm curious if gay strip clubs catering to men have such a taboo against the patrons pleasuring themselves on a de facto basis, independent of what may be on the books de jure.
Though someone pointed out in general, strip clubs are supposed to cater to mens sexual desires, that doesn't mean they consider an exposed penis to be a commodity, like most of the rest of society. Our sexual fulfillment is not what's being catered towards, it's the commodification of the female figure.

I’ve been to some male strip clubs before. The male patrons aren’t technically allowed to jerk off because of the laws but they still break the rules a lot. I mean I'm guessing the same amount we expect people to accept for those in foodservice and retail to clean the urinary and fecal leavings of customers. As I said earlier I'm team no jerkoff in strip clubs for my own comforts but the health/safety aspect is sort of a weak argument when just about every facility has a bathroom; which realistically just about every patron could opt to masturbate within...so again it hearkens back to the facility's motivation to not allow release in the presence or within the view of dancers even if healthy and safe separation can be maintained.
