Why would a straight guy...

because having a large penis and problems / complications that come along with it (such as having trouble with female partners who might not be used to a large size, etc...) are not exclusive to gay men.

why do people seem to forget that women deal with dick as well and that there are women on this site?

I was more-less making a joke.

Like, a 100% straight alpha male type guy would never join a website where he might see another penis, or a man might see his.

And yes, there's women on this site, but I'd imagine they're out numbered by a pretty large margin, but I don't know that.

As long as they are there it doesn't really matter if they're outnumbered everyone else is just background noise with the focus being on the women. Not to mention the community aspect of people that just help others with problems they May have.

At the end of the day not everyone is here just to look at dick pics.

I will try to explain from a 100 percent straight perspective. I am very open minded sexually and am not phobic at all to the gay community. The reason I am here is not to look at large penises-I enjoy the community and conversations, input from both sexes. I find it all interesting. For the record, truly straight men don't masturbate together. I never have, never would. Do I find it offensive? Not at all. I think if two men who say they are straight doodle together, it indicates they have a little lean into the gay side. What's the big deal? If a man enjoys that, go for it. Just my two cents here.....

Some people here seem to be completely hung up on masturbation being a sexual thing. It doesn't have to be. When your bladder's full, sometimes you pull out your cock and piss with a mate (or group). It's the same thing, when your balls are full and your with a mate (or group) that you trust and are comfortable with (e.g. watching porn), sometimes you pull out your cock and wank. For comfort. Between friends. If it's someone more distant to you then you don't, out of good manners.

guys just did when I was in school, nudity wasn't such a big issue for guys ad masturbation (group) was quite common stroking a friend off was no big issue either

I for one have never understood this so called straight behavior. I am not being critical of it, all I am saying is that I have never understood a straight guy wanting to handle another guys penis.

I really don't get all the fuss about that. I jerked off many times with other guys who were straight. Everyone on needs to jerk and sometimes there's not enough room for privacy so you might as well put your complexes aside and satisfy yourself.

we all would be so much better off if we would drop all the labels in life period. I would bet you could take five guys from every label and you would find behavior not applicable to that label. Just saying we don't need to label people. We are not there judge either.

To me the thing here is 'public self image.' First off, I know there are straight men who call themselves straight, and are only attracted to women. But there are also a lot of guys who are less than 100% straight, but because our culture likes to suggest that you're 'bi now, gay later', a lot of guys don't want the social stigma of seeming like a gay guy in denial, so when asked, the standard response is 'I'm completely straight.' It would be threatening for a dude's girlfriend or wife also, because there are things a guy has that a girl can't offer obviously. Anyway that's my 2 cents

I know guys who play yet consider themselves straight because they are not interested in a relationship with another man. So, I guess for some, the label is their perspective of lifestyle versus sexual preference.
I agree here sometimes you get together with buds and yiur not in a relationship with them it is just wacking off look we all do it. Some just do it with others

I should hope that if I ever had urges like that, I would act on them and be honest with myself.

And lots of people do. But the idea of a chunk of the male population professing to be 100% straight, the idea that they're more than what they claim to be, that scares people. And rightly so! We like to think that people are exactly who they say they are, and shame, and it's ability to limit people, is a sad thing that we don't like to dwell on. And every defensive reaction people have about 'what it means to be gay', to me it just points out how scared people still are of being judged for wanting physical contact and affection from another adult human of the same sex.

People most certainly have different degrees of sexuality! But to me when a guy says he is straight to me means not interested in dick at all. Now if a guy sucks a dick or gets his sucked by a guy than he has a degree of bisexuality.

While that's true, there also seems to be a lot of people claiming to be completely heterosexual who are clearly at least slightly bisexual.

I'm inclined to agree with @hairy_chest on this one. I think a cultural taboo is playing a role here.

After all, public attitudes are changing very fast right now. There has to be a lot of people left that still think (however unconsciously) that being anything other than a cisgender heterosexual is something to be ashamed of.

I have no idea either. I've never heard of straight women mastubsting together either
Its part of the girl code Hatt! What do you think women do when they get together without the hubbys to "drink wine"? They are peeling off their panties and group-fingering themselves on the persian rugs! They are also giving each other blow job tips using a big fat dildo.

But that's the thing. I wouldn't do that with a close friend out of good manners. :p

Maybe this is a cultural thing. Does the UK have a lot of single-sex high schools or something?

In my day, yes - in fact, most secondary schools were single sex. Over the past 30 years the situation has reversed.

Personally, I'm more annoyed that I mistyped "you're" (you are) as "your" in post #45!
