Why?

That makes no sense.
I think it does make sense. In a highly pornified, sexualised, patriarchal world, the man is seen as the dominant (‘the fucker’) while the woman is the submissive, the ‘receiver’ - so a man referring to his hole as pussy or cunt is linguistically implying submission. Certainly that’s what’s going on for the subs I fuck who use the term.

But it’s a guy, not a girl. I cant wait til my first m/m experience but for sure don’t want the guy referring to his hole as a pussy. Submissive or not.

You're talking about transwomen?

Maybe a bussy? Boy pussy is not a commonly used term here (aus).

Why is it any kind of reference to a pussy? Bussy or cunt. I mean they are a guy. I mean I like watching gay porn because it’s men, not women, not pussy.

I know quite a few tops (including myself) use that term. It stems from ( on our case) from fucking women for so long and how good it felt and how fuckin some guys reminds us of that feeling..

Don’t get it twisted “There is ass and there is pussy”. There is a difference between the two..Like the term daddy, people tend to use the term loosely..

Not at all. I’m talking about men using a word. Semantics is how people engage with the world. If you think about it, it’s a metaphor. Why is a man ‘a dog’? ‘Cos he acts like one in the view of the speaker. Why is an asshole a pussy? Same reason. Just my thoughts.

No one in my circle uses the term and personally I don’t like it. I’m not a big fan of queer either but when I grew up in the dark ages it was a term used in a pejorative sense.
At my age I’m a live and let live guy. Human sexuality is exceedingly complex and there are seldom easy answers.
I don’t know that a survey could be fashioned where we might learn anything useful about the term or its cultural connotations.

The term pussy is affectionately being used to refer to an orifice.

The term pussy does not to always refer to a vagina, as the correct term for the female genitalia is vagina, not pussy. So if a gay guy refers to his ass as a pussy, he’s referring to an orifice that gives him pleasure. It would be different if he was calling his ass a vagina.

Yes, pussy is a colloquial term for vagina. But the meaning of words change. If a man refers to his ass as a pussy, it’s a turn on. I sometimes refer to mine as a pussy. It’s different. It’s erotic. In my case, it has nothing to do with femininity or submissiveness; it’s just a sexy word.

The word pussy is not gross. Think about the number of people who think anal sex is gross (not that this is a reason to call an as a pussy). They at least have a point.

It’s really not a big deal.

Why do gay guys call their asshole a pussy?
Not all of us do, I hate that! It’s usually for straight guys going gay, or DL str8 guys who are wanting to fuck men on the DL but want to maintain their image of masculinity, by calling it a pussy, in their heads it is, so they can bypass the fact that they are actually fucking a man and don’t feel ‘gay’

Some guys have a fetish for being "sissy sluts" and getting dominated and use terms like pussy or bussy for their anus.

It's not my kink but I run into it on grindr.
