Charlie seems like the type of person that always needs constant validation. Like he never had a highschool sweetheart like the rest of his friends and is low key obsessed with recreating it, so whenever his boyfriend doesn't give him the constant unrelenting adoration that you would get from a middle school relationship he loses interest. His twitter is also irritating the way he infantalizes himself.
I feel like Will was most likely more mature, and hence not so desperate to have others prove their love to him or his love to them and so charlie found someone that was. Will seems like he'd be a really sweet boyfriend so I dont really see any reason they'd break up or he'd want to cheat other than Will looks more physically mature, while Charlie's rebound looks like he could still be in highschool, and therefore recreating the sweetheart experience. But all we can do is speculate since we don't know so oh well. But will is hotter than Charlie's rebound imo, i don't think it'll last I've yet to see a relationship that's resulted from cheating to hold up at all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
