Yeeeah.....I think that one's permanent. We're more likely to switch from "The Star Spangled Banner" to "America, The Beautiful" before we replace USA USA USA.

We even chant USA USA USA at 'domestic' events sometimes, just for the hell of it. :biggrin1:

I was at a music festival a few weeks ago and going down the ramp in the stadium toward the field people started chanting "USA USA" for no reason that I could discern. This was before the world cup started so it wasn't anything to do with that. So yeah, that's not going anywhere.

Decisions going with the theatrical Germany again and France yet to wake up. We are not allowed to call against Germany, but I have to wonder about their stamina if the game is close to the end.

too much of that soccer sounding noise for me this time of the am, sound off not used to it
boring/lack lustre not exactly a RWC type 1/4 final, not overly enthused tbh
bring on the next one and hurry the F up about it .. lose my patience ..
im now thinking its hype as much as anything haha


poor exhausted buggers slowly dragging there supposedly weary bodys upwards ..be a different story if they were a goal down huh .. we are all being fooled ..

Looked like the 120 mins against algeria were way more exhausting as i expectied...
France was way more fit and faster.
Anyway a win is a win... the first 30 mins germany was better, the next 50 mins was frances game - only the last 10 min germany showed some offense

But drifter can be happy, after a very algeria critic reffery, we had now a very french friendly reffery.
Btw, you can call against whom ever you want, but its doubtfull that your forcasts will match the reality ;)

it was kind of a boring match. shame benzema couldn't reach the net. Germany is still going strong. but the Brazil v Colombia game is gonna be good.

A final germany vs brazil would be great, but its impossible - if brazil wins today, they will meet germany in the half finals... and i guess the winner of this match will win the cup.

Neymar becomes the next robben, a good player who complains, fouls and dives - but too bad, he got hurt so hard at the end of the game.
The reffery made the game brutal - the whole championchip you see one foul after another, but the reffries dont care (order by the fifa)

Was a nice game, brasil deserved the win. Too bad columbia found their game so late
 
Way to go BRAZIL!! initially wanted you guys gone but this game was very exciting. Over 50 fouls/ 4 cards I think. Columbia was playing a lil rough but that is the game sometimes injure the MVP's especially when they know they wont advance to see the semifinals. Neymar sure was a selected target but I'm sure he will recover in time for the finals. Yes my vote is for Brazil to advance to the finals.

Addio Columbia... I saw felt the passion and pain behind the deception of the loss.
