Yoga pants

I just realized that I see them on guys in the gym sometimes. Never really noticed before, so perfectly acceptable to me.

I'm of the only on people actually in yoga at the time mindset.

I have seen some sturdier fabric versions of flow pants on men and women, along with wraps and Thai fisher pants. They are fine.

But basically leggings? The crotch and butt need to be covered outside the studio. That's what the micro mini yoga skirts are for.

All of this applies to cycling/ workout/etc wear. These fabrics get soaked with sweat, which degrades the fibers. They aren't durable enough for all day wear.

And if you don't actually do the exercise but wear the outfit....sad, sad, sad.

I notice that many younger women wear yoga pants as an all day thing. Are you saying there are pants of the same style, but just with more durable fabric?

Excuse my ignorance here. I enjoy wearing Underarmor pants out and about after playing rugby - the compression helps blood flow, but I recognize that many in the US seem to be uncomfortable around men in tight pants.

I had a male employee that wore them to work. I had to say, "dude, just no. This a professional environment, I don't care if it's a paper day. I don't need to see that much of you."

Other than that, I don't care what other people wear. Mostly. I might make fun of you (oh, people of Wal-Mart), but I wear what I want, too.

Side note: is this just a Canadian thing? LuluLemon lunch bags. Everyone is carrying them. Now, I'm no yogi, but if this is a ploy to promote yoga - than I'm out. No way can 75% of these bag carriers do a sun salutation. And the same percentage could not purchase clothing at good old Lulu.

Ok, I'm being a bitch. :( But Tai Chi, yes. Yoga, no. Guess there's no pricey upscale store for Tai Chi, though.

yes :p:

You mean like yoga pants that are tight in the thigh and loose at the ankle? If that's the case definitely no for a guy.

If you mean like athletic or running tights or bike shorts, then that is ok. I know it can bother some people if a guy's junk is on display, but at a long as you aren't trying to flaunt it, the running tights don't both me.

Since you started this thread I noticed a boy at work (he's 24) wearing "showing off trousers". He really does think he's a ladies man :D.

I'd rather use my imagination thanks :D.

Like skinny jeans, or tight trousers with some other "normal" trousers fabric? I never understood that - inflexible fabrics mixed with tight in the groin area means walking around like Frankenstein's monster
