How are your ears? I recently was tested for an inner ear problem because I never told my Dr about the ringing I've experienced for almost a year. He said it's tinnitus and could be causing the imbalance/vertigo, full feeling in the head (like when you are in a plane and feel like you need to pop your ears) and will cause general fatigue. I don't have sinus problems so that was ruled out so it could be Meniere's disease. That's a build up of inner ear fluid and can be the cause of all the above feelings.

I feel like I've been in a room filled with fumes, and my brain is damaged as a result. Everything is vibrating. :frown1:

Those saying it could be a UTI are worth listening too, as is thickjohnny. Could be an inner ear thing. Still, have you and your doctor discussed a referral to a neurologist? This has been going on for a while now, right? Not to ring any alarm bells or anything, but you seem quite distressed about the cognitive side-effects of whatever's going on.

Also, good on you for going to the professionals instead of self-diagnosing.

Best of luck :)

Thanks for the input. Ears seem fine, balance is ok. I don't think it's an ear problem but I'll go to an ENT to be sure -- is that the right person to see, an ear nose & throat specialist?

I couldn't help but laugh at the poster who said that if you wore a condom you couldn't have a STD or virus. LMAO. Do some research. Condoms do not protect you from a variety of STD's (STI's) such as shingles, pubic lice, HPV (dangerous to women not men, men can contract it not know it and spread it, its generally well known that this virus in particular is not stopped very well by condoms) and even Herpes has been shown to be spread although the transmission rate with condoms is very very low.

I don't know what you have but I do know you need to be more honest and upfront with your doctor. Good luck.

I feel so much better, about 70% back to normal.

Nothing has been identified so far. But, if I haven't mentioned it already, I was on accutane to get rid of some stubborn but mild adult acne--I probably should not have been given the drug.

I was on it for 6 weeks when I got these symptoms, and then stopped immediately. Almost 4 weeks later, I'm starting to feel normal again. Not perfect, but much better than I was.

Your not going to catch anything worth worrying about via oral sex. The vaginal was.................protected, meaning, protected.

You probably caught something from the door knob to the bathroom at the club rather than your hookup.

Your fine.

=)

The first thing I would do is GO to the DOCTOR and have it check out. The last thing I want to do is get on my computer and ask the question to a total strangers and most of us don't have an M.D. behind our last name.
RUN to your doctor.
