I just found...

I found 3/4 of a twenty dollar bill at a gay bar. I took it to the bank the next day. And
I went to dinner and a movie. THAT was definately serendipitous.

NOTE TO PEOPLE: Did you know that any damaged currency you find...you CAN take it to a bank and they will give you a replacement for the damaged bill? US banks return damaged currency to the US Treasury/ Mint for recycling.

Really? That's awesome. I should go rip a ten pound note in half and take both halves in seperately! Double my money :tongue: Or maybe that would be slightly foolish :smile:

It has to be three quarters of the bill for the bank to accept it.

OMG YOU HAVE BEEN SO LUCKY!!! I guess it's because of this unsuspected new monetary resource that you have decided that the best way to spend it was to go on holidays!

I am delighted that you were lucky enough to find some money on the street. When I read that you considered giving the money to Charity I realized what a NOBLE and GENEROUS COW YOU ARE!

You also said you might use the money to buy some sweets. I wish that I were near you because you would NEVER want for sweets. I would bake fresh sweets for you each day (I am a professional chef) and serve them to you with a nice cup of tea.
