80's heart throbs

I used to rent a home on Martha's Vineyard not far from his mother's home at Red Gate Farm. Many times I would see him driving his red Jeep Wrangler convertible. One time he was in front of me, shirt off and I must have been driving a bit too close and he pulled over to let me pass. He did wave! I was in my glory. Pictures never did him justice, he was perfect.

For me, my #1 crush was Andy Gibb. Not exactly an 80s heartthrob, as his popularity peaked in the late 70s, I think. But he was still working in the 80s, doing Solid Gold and live tours. He was my big secret junior high school crush. His mix of boyish good looks and sexy chesthair drove me wild. Still does.

Here's an unintentionally poignant duet between Andy Gibb and Nell Carter from a 1983 episode of Gimme a Break called "The Groupie", considering they both died too young. Of course her voice is massively more powerful than his but they still manage to blend well. It appears they are singing live.

He's wearing tight jeans if that helps matters to justify posting on here.
