Okay... speaking as a physician (although not a plastic surgeon) there are a couple of options for increasing the buttocks size and shape: 1.) exercise. Butt Blaster Machine at the gym does what squats do, without killing your knee joints or lower back. (find it and use it) 1.a) Bicycle Riding does help. But you have to be consistent and log at least 6 miles a week. 2.) Fat Transfer surgery. AKA the "Brazillian" butt lift because it was started by Ivor Pitanguy in Rio (famous Plastic surgeon - ancient now.) Fat is harvested from waist, stomach, love handles, etc., and re-injected into the buttock muscles. It can take several hundred cc's and you tend to loose about 1/3 of it the first time it's done. You must have enough fat to allow it to be repeated a 2nd or even third time. (The fat is harvested at one lipo session and can be frozen for up to 2 years and then thawed and used later.) 3.) Buttock Implants. Mentor Medical makes several types and shapes of buttock implants in semi-solid silicone. It's a big surgery to place them, and the scars do not show (the incision is made in the ass crack on either side of it) but there is a high rate of complication as it's a big implant and requires a large pocket to hold it. However once it's done and the patient is healed fully - the implant is considered permanent. The right shape/size and you can almost choose the type/shape of ass you'll have. Great for guys or gals who just have no buttock to speak of. (Getting the fat off the love handles and lower back also makes the butt look vastly better, as well.) In terms of costs: Brazillian fat transfer runs about $5500 to $8500 (depending on who and where it's done.) The buttock implants can run between 8 and 10 thousand, and there is a required in patient stay of about 2 days after surgery to make sure eveything is stable and the patient isn't going to develop an infection or Deep Vein Thrombosis.

The surgical fix is becoming much more popular in the last few years - and it can literally transform your ass from an ironing board to voluptuous in a few hours. When done right and sized correctly, it's impossible to detect without ultrasound or xrays.
