I honestly don't find him particularly hot, and I have pretty basic and broad tastes (i.e., I'm not very picky, and you don't have to be that handsome to get me interested).

He looks like a washed-up circuit queen who has put in a lot of financial effort to get his body where it is now. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but just wanted to say that not everyone thinks he's hot.

When he was in his twenties, he had the boy-next-door look that many find attractive. Now that he's past 40, he's moving into Daddy territory, which many find attractive. He will always have some admirers irrespective of his past and current political views. But how he affords to jet-set all over the world is still a mystery.

He seems to be involved with a real estate development group that renovates buildings into hotels. Beyond that, who knows. Let's not forget he was indicted after the "Downton Abbey" reno of his office while in Congress. He would have run up significant legal fees before the charges were dropped. Who paid them?

He comes from old Peoria money, so likely inherited money from his grandparents. I think he was a savvy investor early on, so probably still has funds from that. He probably lives with his credit cards nearly maxed out, and maybe he does do a bit of very discreet escorting. All this in addition to whatever he's making from his "legit" hotel job. That's my hypothesis.

(It's fun to imagine him as a global ho-for-hire, earning most of his money that way, but I'm trying to give a real response.)
