Have done it with 2 guys and both times it was really quite painful.

The first time was with a larger than normal cock so I put it down to that. The second guy was pretty average but it still really hurt.

Any tips? Does it hurt some people more?

Go slow, build up to it with toys and TONS of lube.

Were you doing it for you?
Or for him?
Iv never given nor recived anal, but from female freinds that have done it AND talked about it,
It seems if they arent into the idea, no amount of lube, build up ect will overcome the mental state of them not being into it...

I am not sure if I can answer, since I'm not a man...but I have a lot of female friends who love anal. I used to enjoy it with a much smaller guy. My husband has never been able to fit more than the head in. We gave up years ago. It's ok, I can most certainly live without it.

Training, lube, getting used to it and being in the mood are very important. If it hurts, stop! Buy a buttplug which is not too big but big enough to stretch you a little and wear it. This works for lots of people.

I experimented with anal toys on my own off and on for a couple of years, before I asked Remington about it. Prior to a pleasant experience with him, my only other time doing anal with someone else involved ended in agony and bleeding. I refused to have anything or anyone go near my ass for years, but since I have a thing for DP porn (among other kinds of porn) I started exploring ass play on my own. I eventually got comfy with it. I would do it more often, if it weren't for all the prep work.

I would suggest doing play on your own with toys every now and then, going very slowly of course and with tons of lube. If you're into vibrators/clit stimuli, maybe use a vibrator on your clit to get some pleasurable sensations going on while you do so.

ALL toys going in your ass need a flare. Your butt has a weird tendency to want to try and pull things deeper, so to keep yourself from potential awkwardness of having something lodged inside you and not being able to remove it yourself... flared base, fake balls on the toy, whatever.

Accidentally hit post too quickly....that was supposed to read most importantly (IMHO) with a partner you trust....

If you don't enjoy it there's no reason for you to do it. I've known plenty of women who've tried and hated it, even after multiple attempts. Like everything else it's just not for everyone.

i think many people just have really bad first experiences because of impatient, inattentive partners. one bad experience can turn someone off of anal for a lifetime. many of them end up being the prudes preaching the common myths that anal always hurts, your anus will get stretched out, you'll have to wear adult diapers when you are older, no one actually enjoys it, etc etc :-(

my first anal hurt like hell because he just rammed it in my ass without lube with the classic 'oops, wrong hole' tactic and even had the nerve to keep going to the point where i had to buck him off (in the backseat of a toyota, just to complete the nightmare). that turned me off anal for a couple of years

but the first time with a partner who took the time to get me relaxed and super aroused it was amazing, a total epiphany :p
he was actually pretty sneaky about it since i didn't even know i was going to get it in the butt until it was too late to care, by the time he got around to it i'd have let him do anything to me ;)
like alteredego wrote lots and lots of foreplay and oral (but he wouldn't let me even touch his cock)... then he used the 'flip over onto your stomach so i can give you a massage' tactic (sneaky-sneaky) to get me covered in lube and all worked up to the point that i was begging for it. he used a gallon of lube, used his fingers to stretch my ass out a bit first while rubbing my clit with his other hand, and then really slowly slipped it in (stimulating me with his other hand the entire time). having my ass fucked ended up feeling fantastic, and i've been hooked ever since. seeing how turned on he gets by anal is also really arousing for me.

the cliffs notes:
1. lots of foreplay
2. lots of patience
3. lots of lube
4. lots of clitoral stimulation

I would die.Could not imagine going to the ER for that... or having to have someone take me. I may die of embarrassment or because of embarrassment lol.

I feel bad for any and everyone that learned that the heard way.

I know you mentioned prep work. In theory couldn't you leave a plug of a desirable size in to keep you stretched or moderately stretched?
Not a butt expert, more a question because It could be really bad or harmless lol.

Sometimes trying a different position helps.

I had one guy try and shove it in doggie style. It was a very shocking pain. After that we tried spooning. He went in slower. We were both more verbal about how/when after that in the beginning.

You have to be relaxed and willing. As soon as you get scared/nervous you tighten up and it will not happen.

My exbf used to lick my ass for a few minutes before entering. It felt amazing and I was usually relaxed enough we didn't need lube.

I heartily agree that a lady must truly have an interest. I have enjoyed anal sex with three women, and all three wanted it. One went bonkers for it, the other two just enjoyed the overall experience. Ms. Bonkers was actually crying from pleasure and begging me to NEVER stop fucking her ass. VERY nice! I have suggested it with several others, and was firmly refused. I NEVER push the issue. If a woman is not comfortable with the sexual experience, it is not likely that she will orgasm. I prefer for a lady to come, and then come back for more.
To answer the comfort question, cleanliness, desire, lubrication and relaxation are the keys, as well as a SLOW initial penetration, with stops along the way as needed. If all goes well you may love it, but you still need to follow the steps.

<<<< Not a woman; or gay; but the few times I tried I did not enjoy myself. I am pretty sure my partner did not enjoy herself. I think I will just stick with Vaginal sex at least I know what the heck I am doing.

Girls who are into anal have consistently explain the feeling to me as being about "pleasure-pain". I can't say if it hurts some people more than others, but there might also be an aspect to it of some people having different attitudes to pain. As others have said, though, using more lube might help, if you're not already using lots of lube... and obviously have guys go easy at first to let you adjust to have a cock in you ass.

if its painful they are doing it wrong
