I've been on Androgel for the last few months. Not only has it not increased the size of my dick, I'm not even sure if it's boosted my energy, which is what it's supposed to do.
I'm on Androgel,and you have to get your blood levels checked every 6 months.Too high a level can lead to prostate troubles.i would not mess with it, if my testosterone levels were normal.
Sorry I don't buy that story at all.

The ONLY thing androgel will do is increase your blood testosterone level. It has NO effect on penis size at all.......

Let me put it this way; Androgel simply is not a male enhancement product, it is a daily testosterone replacement therapy, and as such, has no redeeming qualities as the former, SHORT OF: possibly increasing strength of erections, according to their website.

I rubbed a satchel of my older brother's Testogel (same shit) on my arms shoulders and stomach, when I visited him last month. In a pretty short time, I felt my blood pressure rising, tension in my neck and shoulders and had an overwhelming desire to fuck something. Anything. For a couple hours I was getting spontaneous erections that did not go completely down. I felt like I was 14 years old.
According to some men that have tried it, they did notice a size increase. This was probably due to them having low test levels to begin with (they were older gentlemen), and their penis size had actually decreased over time due to disuse. This isn't really enlargement as much as it is restoring former dimensions.
The gentleman that sent me that message had nothing to gain by sending me that correspondence. He's an older gentlemen so it's likely that his gains were merely a restoration of the size that he had at his physical peak, not an actual "increase".
I have nothing to gain by posting any information about Androgel. I don't hold any stock in the company nor have I tried it myself. I'm merely sharing information.
Personally, I don't think Androgel would do much for the penis sizes of normal, healthy men with average T levels. After puberty, androgen receptors in the penis start downregulating, so hormone-based size increases aren't likely to happen.

When I was working with Gary Griffin many years ago we did volumes of research on this one.
The best source of infomation at the time and the best test bed were HIV patients. Just before Gary's death testosterone replacement to combat wasting syndrom associated with advanced HIV became a standardized and acceptable treatment. The HIV community actually was a better than average test bed because of the wide variance in ages and the minimal time that penile function had been impacted.
I did a great deal of volunteer work and because of my background and family history I was well skilled in giving injections including various testosterone esters that were being tried at the time.
Before Androgel came on the market the most common testosterone ester used was Depo Testosterone which is Testosterone Cypionate. For those not in the know, Cypionate is preferred by some to this day because it is longer acting than other esters. The levels of Cypionate in the body peak on about the third day after the injection and then slide down again slowly. If the Cypionate injections are substantial enough what this does is to slowly raise the levels over time quite a bit to where the valleys are eventually higher than the peaks were and the levels slowly rise higher and higher.
The problem with Cypionate is that it is very much regognized by the pituitary gland and does cause down regulation of what is called "the pituitary axis".
Very early on it was discovered that DHT which is Dihydrotestosterone though less anabolic by nature worked nearly as well in HIV patients. The main problem was that these fellows when this was tested were being turned into human pincushions. The injectable version of DHT by trade name is commonly called "Masteron" and there are several others. The DHT has the best effect because unless the dosage is absolutely outrageous the pituitary does not recognize it and it does not down-regulate the patients own testosterone production. The down side however is that the life of this stuff in the blood-stream is very short. This would in essence make I.M. injections necessary less than ideally on a daily basis and medically better but on a comfort level far worse twice per day. This is why many still stick with the Depo/Cypionate.
What then happened was that a very sharp compounding pharmacist started making up the DHT into a transdermal gel and Androgel was born. It is now commercially available, but not all Androgel is DHT based and the other is not the same.
I was around doing volunteer work and helping numerous HIV patients many who were bed ridden at this time. I had views of more genitals than I could count as a result of this and administered their injectables to many in need because I was the only one available to do it.
There were some who did respond with what appeared to be some enlargement, but this took time and was more likely a result of differences in erection quality than it was of actual cellular growth.
There were a percentage of these men who had been hypogonadal for some time and as a result they never did when it came to size reach the place they were genetically supposed to go. I saw this happen in the years I did this to a total of about 10 men. I probably helped and assisted about 100 to 110 in the years I did this volunteer work.
Those who had responses of this nature had many other responses as well and to me it was as if those who responded really had doubtful completion of puberty even though chronologically they were adults.
In those years, the one thing that was for certain was that a great deal of misinformation appears to have taken place with regards to prostatic enlargement from supplemental testosterone. In the 1oo to 110 patients I "poked" there was 1 case where the person did eventually develop prostatic enlargment and prostatitis. The inflamation itself could have been the problem and the supplementation in that case may not have even been a factor.
There are some new studies now originating in Sweden and Denmark that have taken place where men with prostatic enlargement have been given DHT as a treatment for the condition and the prostate glands have in fact reduced in size. Differing opinion is now out there on this one AND the enlargement may be caused by a hormonal imbalance rather than the presence of additional DHT.
The thing to remember here is that as a general rule and for about what is probably 95% of the population that actual cellular growth which is the type of enlargement most are shooting for is not going to happen. There can be other factors that give the impression of enlargement when true and actual growth did not take place.
If it worked across the board, I would have seen a great deal more in the men I "poked" than what I did.
