I know I have no right to dictate people what to do here but I'll just say one thing: this thread used to be fun with many people posting different stuff, now its just stale with 1 user taking all the spotlight - people stopped caring and you can see none of the last 20 pages have much likes on posts and other people stopped posting.

Every time I come checking the thread it is pictures from 1 artists filling, sometimes, up to 3-4 pages. And from time to time it is literally the same video/picture posted few pages back (check screenshots below).

I wish OdysseusRex gives this thread a break

And, you could always go find some images to upload yourself...

No, it was not a one off thing - check last 20 pages or so - posting like this does not do the thread any good. In fact, the other user Alistair have asked to just contain several pics into a single post and not just dedicate every post to 1-2 pics. I don't know about you but I never seen anything like it on any other thread. It makes it difficult going through the content and other users stopped posting at all, presumably because the post will just get lost in a wave of pics from Odysseus afterwards.

I am not saying the uploads are bad - to each their own, I am saying the thread just became boring, I hope that makes sense

He's largely doing 2-4 pics per post, and I can understand him doing so: The limit is five per post, as any uploader will tell you, so rather than risk splitting up images intended to be grouped together, it makes more sense to post them as their own sets. Hopefully you can see the sense in that.

Which tells me that neither of you upload much, if at all, since you're both unaware of the image limit. And that you have a talent for hyperbole, since he very often uploads more than two per post.

On the contrary, I've created several threads and uploaded my entire library of images on the subject in one continuous stream of posts, and so have others. It often makes more sense for those users generous enough to share their archived materials to do so this way, since 1) It's less time consuming overall, rather than coming back piecemeal just to avoid the hilariously minimal risk that someone else might be "put off", and 2) It's easier to curate the images, ie upload in some semblance of order, rather than coming back at a later date and accidentally duplicating an upload or two as a result - especially if said collection itself has a few duplicates.

It seems to me that because Odysseus' image collection is so large he's having to upload in clumps, and thus the rare duplications really are in error.

I'd suggest that you and any other non-uploaders who want to make such complaints try your hand at actually contributing material for a change, because at least then you might understand a bit more the decisions uploaders make.

I often see requests for more vids, pics or complaints about the pics/vids posted from members who only share opinions, but no content.

You completely misundertood the issue and made a lot of wrong assumptions for no reason. Go to page 55 please, and start checking posts from there - I was a frequent uploader here, uploading exactly 5 pictures per posts and other users were uploading 5 pictures per post.

The issue is exactly because Odysses does not upload 5 pictures per posts, but spams material from a single artist across many many posts (not even giving the artist name).

From roughly page 60+ you will see how things slowly start to change with Odysessus posts taking over the thread. Maybe then you will see the difference in "pre Odysseus" and "post Odyssesus" eras of this thread (sorry if it sounds cringe)

As I already noted, it often makes sense to curate images in sets of 2-4 rather than nonstop over multiple posts which cause a string of disjointed groupings (And where video files are concerned, the time it takes to upload means it's often easier to do one per post). As both viewer and uploader, I applaud the effort he has gone to to post the images logically and in sequence.

Legitimate content uploads are not "spam" by any means.
