It's strange. Back in the day, this site used to be a place to hang out and swap stories and flirt and be nasty and make some true on-line and off-line friendships.
Now, it seems to be a source of addiction for some people. It's stuff only a psychologist can explain. If I came in here every waking hour and posted thousands of one-line messages in a few months, I would start to question if it was really a productive use of my time. Then, couple that time commitment with making up a fake persona like being a hot sexy bisexual 20-something blue-collar worker, and you have all the makings of a personal crisis.
DoubleMeatWhopper did exactly this for years here and the whole thing ended tragically in many ways. I fear this is deja vu all over again.
I mean, think about it. What type of person would spend countless hours on here trying to convince people he's something that he's not? Really scary stuff.

Are people actually being banned for calling Monster fake? If so, thats pathetic.
In re-reading my post above, I realize I left out one important point: the only significant difference between DMW and some of the inane posters today is that DMW actually posted fairly intelligent, engaging messages about his faith and sexuality.

Yes it is. He also seemed able to get Pecker to close a thread he didn't like and to announce the banning of another person hours before they were actually banned. No one seems able or willing to explain it though. Go figure...

He's definitely not the person i remember when i first came here. He's mostly combative and i saw the thread you are talking about. I didn't like how that went down at all. There are fakers around here and whether or not Monster is one of them i could care less, i didn't think any regular members here had the power to get people banned because their feelings were hurt over being questioned?

This is why I feel strongly that there should be a read-only area on LPSG for the admin to post the reason why a member was banned.

sites like these all have tons of fakers, whats worse though, are the ones that are in bed with administration/moderators, and have select members who question them, banned without anyone ever knowing why, every forum ive ever been a member of has this kind of shit goin on, its nothin new, it seems like its always the weirdo fakers who are in with the hierarchy and get people banned for questioning their validity, im still trying to grasp how the hell this works like that, everywhere..... the real , genuine members who keep the site going, with real pics, are the ones who end up g ettin banned because they question blatent fake members? i think us real members should have the right to weed out the weirdos ,, who wants to talk to someone who would steal pics and pass them off as themself? talk about weird..
