careful with discussing shows where the character they play are underage. you can get warned/banned now. It's been happening alot in the Michael thread like me mentioning a certain show he was on got me a 2 day ban

That's still bannable I'm afraid. Fictional or not, discussion of underage people is verboten. I had the same experience as kilanniaz. It's stupid, but them's the breaks
I asked a simple question about how much screen time did someone have in a show and immediately got banned. I personally think it’s ridiculous too but that is the rule so just wanted to warn people who aren’t aware of it.

I'm watching XO Kitty atm. This guy is just stunning. I can't keep my eyes off him whenever he's on screen. I also like the kind of characters he's been playing.

I hope Netflix gives him the lead in a gay series, he's got the looks, he's got the charisma, he's got the start quality. He made Love, Simon better just by being in it.
Why would they cast a closeted actor in response to criticism on casting straight leads?? Wouldn't they cast an openly gay actor???Two young gay teen roles in a row...and he was added to the S2 cast of "Love, Victor" after the producers and Disney+ were both heavily criticized by the LGBTQ community for casting two STRAIGHT relative unknown young actors as Victor & Benji > Hmmm....at the very least this dude is bisexual!
Yeah, I agree. But I'd like him to do something different than the Netflix shows. Something with a bit more for him to do. Not about coming out. Not about a love triangle. Maybe a gay horror series or a spy thriller where the lead character just has to be gay.
Nope, while this would've been ideal, the gay casting process for "Heartstopper" proves that producers can be true to the objective of casting gay actors without those actors necessarily having to confirm for the world their LBGTQ status. It hardly means an an actor is "closeted" simply because they choose not to publicly declare and define their sexuality!
In the case of "Love Triangles, Victor", both Cimino and Sear publicly declared their "straight" sexuality, which then confirmed that neither lead in this LBGTQ series was gay and set off the whole ongoing casting gay actors to play gat characters debate!And with so many global streaming shows and movies having an ever-increasingly number of gay characters, it's now somewhat of an advantage to be either gay or bisexual > especially given the ongoing debate about casting LGBTQ actors for LBGTQ roles!

When L,V ended, I posted on some forum calling for a James Bond-esque gay lead character for Anthony to play! I think he'd be perfect for a debonair gay spy.
I don't know how to/ if I can edit my post but it was supposed to read "leads character happens to be gay".
