Anthony Keyvan

When L,V ended, I posted on some forum calling for a James Bond-esque gay lead character for Anthony to play! I think he'd be perfect for a debonair gay spy.

I'm thinking a cross between The Recruit/ Quantico/ The Night Agent.

I also would like to see the tired spy genre shaken up with a gay secret agent!:)

In the case of "Love Triangles, Victor", both Cimino and Sear publicly declared their "straight" sexuality, which then confirmed that neither lead in this LBGTQ series was gay and set off the whole ongoing casting gay actors to play gat characters debate!
This isnt really fully accurate? LV didn't set anything off.

All the way back in 2018. Jungle Cruise caught backlash for casting Jack Whitehall in a gay role.
Disney sparks backlash for casting in ‘Jungle Cruise’

Not it mention this article from 2019 referencing Darren Criss saying he won't play gay roles anymore.
Playing it straight: should gay roles be reserved for gay actors?

As far as I know Love Victor never even received similar criticisms about this topic maybe beyond random twitter chatter? At least I didn't see any headlines about it.

Um...my point was that "Love Triangles, Victor" re-ignited once again the ONGOING debate about casting LBGTQ actors in LBGTQ roles. Try undertaking a bit of internet research and you'll find Michael Cimino and George Sear BOTH publicly commented during S1 of this series about the major criticism they received from the LGBTQ community and related media regarding being cast in the lead roles as self-declared straight actors! There are also several other articles on this same subject available online, especially during the first season of this series > FACTUALLY ACCURATE!:)

But u wrote love Victor "set off" the conversation.... It's absolutely not true.... Love Victor simply wasn't big enough for any1 to care for it....

Poor choice of words...although I was stating that it "set-off" people debating this subject yet again, not actually raising this subject for the first time ever!:) Anyone who follows Hollywood, knows very well this specific debate didn't start with "Love Triangles, Victor"!:) It was was being hotly debated back in 1994 with the casting of straight actors Tom Hanks & Denzel Washington in "Philadelphia"!:)
