Hapi Papi: Almost 2 years here and I didn't think to ask this question. July 1, 1993, I was 14 and I happened across a Dear Beth column. I'd never read her before, but this one caught me and I wrote a reply to it. I never sent it because my aunt found one of my drafts and called it pornographic, embarrassing me thoroughly during a special talk. She told the doctor when I had my physical that year for 9th grade... however, she didn't tell him in front of me. I would have much rather have heard it from him, but on the way home she embarrassed me further by telling me it looked small because I was fat and that it should grow (something that didn't happen) and I had average sized testicles for my age. I wanted to die. It didn't help one bit and that insecurity back then was just a match strike, nothing compared to what seems to be hydrogen explosions of today. The point of all this is, I wonder if this guy found his way here. Did anyone here write this letter to Dear Beth back 11 years ago?
