Hi, I stumbled upon the this thread by chance. I am a big fan of ASG from when they started and have downloaded hours of clips but lost most of them. Although the original ASG closed 10 years ago, I have kept a lot of records and videos of the classic ASG, so if anyone has a question (particularly about what updates a certain star was in, when they occurred, etc), please feel free to ask me here. My knowledge isn't unlimited, but I've already managed to help several people here with ASG related stuff, so I thought I'd give this a whirl.

Not sure, but I don't know of him working anywhere else. Many of the ASG models were exclusive to that site.

Marcus was active in scenes on ASG from January 2006 through May 2008, after which he did a few scenes with Jake Cruise, and then not much, if anything at all, after that. I remember reading someone claimed to have hooked up with him in Florida for a gay encounter and said he was bisexual, but take it with a grain of salt.

From one if their earlier videos, Doug and a guy called Kurt. Kurt was allegedly bisexual and a little older than their regular models. Handsome guy, smooth, brown floppy wavy hair. They start to kiss and the guy says it was “bizarre.” It’s a two-part clip between him and Doug.

Then he is in another video where he is in a foursome and I believe Nate fucks him.

They definitely deleted his scenes a long while ago. They used to pop up on a google search of the site and his name. The links would be dead but it would direct you to the old version of their site that looked very basic. There were some thumbnails but the links to the videos were dead.

here he is from another site. He may have also gone by Kraig / Craig on ASG. He uses the name. Kraig Summers and Craig Summers in a lot of his other vids. He does gay, straight, and bi stuff.

Ah, ok. He went by "Craig" on ASG. That's why I wasn't finding him with the "Kurt" name. You are correct -- I just realized ASG deleted off a lot of their older vids around the time the mid-2000's rolled around, not sure why that is, but it tends to happen with various studios. Perhaps it's just the older scenes tend to have a granier quality to them and the webmasters don't like it.

Well I can offer a bit of help -- His partners in the foursome were Smoke, Nate and Ken (Mack). I've searched everywhere for the scene itself, but I'm not finding jack. I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled though. I've always been a colossal Smoke fan and have most of his scenes, so I want this foursome vid for my collection.

Very informative! ASG has always been my favorite. Any idea if Guzzo did porn after ASG? He was def one of my favs

As some of you may know, the original ASG -- which existed for nearly all of the 2000's -- closed in late 2009. The site closing had nothing to do with profits -- in fact profits were quite good, but rather due to the personal problems of one of the owners - Doug. Various people claimed that Doug had drug problems, anger management problems, stiffed models on pay and so on. His partnership with Jay, both professional and romantic, ended around this time and Jay left to create his own site. Jay's new site -- JaysStraightGuys -- was a place to see old favorites on ASG as well as new models and they did some good updates for a while, but updates were few and far between. While the site is still up, to date, they have only released a few dozen new scenes -- mostly oral only.

In 2010, Doug teamed up with Dink Flamingo, formerly of Active Duty (who had bought Jay's share of the site) and created a new version of ASG with a new layout. As with JSG, updates happened for awhile, but were few and far between and eventually stopped for years. And also distressingly, many of the old favorites were missing as well. At some point, Doug retired from the industry. Dink finally got the ball rolling again on new updates last year, but nearly all of them were solos with the same models. He has been releasing old ASG updates once a week, many of them in bad quality.

Recently, I was surprised to see Jay claim that Dink had stiffed him on the sale of his half of the site. I wrote Dink within the last year or so to inquire about the lost ASG updates and he said that when he acquired the site, many of the old updates were "not salvageable." I was also surprised to learn that Jay said he would be willing to work with Doug again. This is surprising given Doug's history. Jay even alluded on camera that Doug had physically assaulted him. I guess the reasoning for this is possibly that Jay feels Doug was the one that was mainly integral to ASG's success and Jay can't do it without him.

And on that note, Doug seems to have really gone off the deep end, writing an article basically denouncing the industry and advising people not to get into porn. Which is really remarkable considering Doug made a career of taking advantage of other people.

Over the years, I've hoped beyond hope that some new version of ASG could thrive, but the various attempts to resurrect it have all failed. ASG had its own niche -- mostly models you didn't see anywhere else -- but in these days of models frequently going from one studio to the next, perhaps the original ASG was simply a product of its time and can't be duplicated.

With all that being said, it sure is fun to relive the glory days and watch the old ASG videos.
