He went from soldier guard to artsy avant-garde in a fraction of a second, and I didn’t follow it. I bet he’s better than us. I bet he is selling mediocre pieces of art, painted in acrylic and sweat on historical underwear canvas, to thirsty daddies for obscene figures.

I live in Vienna too and have been wanting some good art prices by a good Austrian artist (dont even go there..) and messaged him on insta about his prices. He replied and gave me a contact (I think his gf) who I could get in touch to browse his catalogue.

Mind you this was years ago when he first started…boy was trying to sell small little pieces for thousands of euros! I mean he’s still going at it so maybe he’s successful…but at the time I thought his prices for his “art” were crazy for someone just starting out. I think I did post screenshots of the catalogue / prices here back then.

I am a fine arts graduate. He is a piece of art himself. He looks stunning. What he does, in my opinion, is not artistic. He is selling ego. Better do that on onlyfans.

Also, there is clear shift towards mid 2023 or so when he probably realized that his art is not what people are expecting from him, and start thirst trapping to showcase his art. Until that, his profile was full art, with little to none body/face display.

From that point on, his art is doomed. If the art is only a complement to the artist and the artist willingly accept it, then the art lacks value on itself. How can you expect as an artist to sell a piece if you yourself doesn't believe it could attract attention on its own.

A bit sad, because he clearly has a artistic drive, and everyone is entitled to follow whatever life path they choose; but I would say if he wants to thirst trapp his art, then his art would benefit more if he lean it towards a more erotic approach. If not there is this dissonance of what he shows and what his art tells.

I've worked in art galleries and it's a common practice to mark some works as sold when they're actually not (sometimes they're pieces the artist has chosen to keep) as a way to draw people in and attract attention. If people see red dots, they start to think, "Hey, maybe there's something to this work. Maybe I should consider buying."
