doesn't surprise me that it's that level of crazy.
idk if in the uk you guys have hazing for first years, but in portugal, hazing is a thing in uni. we don't have frats or anything, but it's basically split into the major you're in. so it's like the science seniors hazing the new science students. there's always been reports of awful shit like forcing them to eat cat food, making them parade the streets in underwear, and ofc sexual harassment. so american frats being as unhinged as we see in the movies doesn't necessarily surprise me

My experience at uni was not that. I heard the sports teams would get drunk and do stupid stuff but nothing to write home about. Certainly nothing sexual.

Most of the time no, but at the college I went to there was a semi notorious gay frat, most of the members even if they were straight wound fuck guys, a sorta a hole if a hole situation
