It's been a trend for quite a while now in real life and the ads are catching up. Most men have at least a stubble beard in a majority of ads. The beard trend has gotten to the point where Gillette was losing market share on mens razors and that's why the started to introduce the men's Body Razor as a way to recover revenue lost from guys not shaving their faces. (Not making that up - all the business and marketing magazines have covered that story)Speaking of Beards, has anyone else noticed that more and more men in TV commercials are sporting Beards? I noticed because I've worn a beard for over 30 years.
They don't seem to be representing any particular life-style or walk of life; just your average man -- young men, older men, family men. They could just as easily be clean-shaven.
It appears to be a trend or a style that's being revived.
Anyone else notice?
