maybe bad marketing and he doesn't like to do a lot interviews, also even FKA Twigs & him are from europe they only had the premiere in NY, Bill deserved better and the movie is not bad at all, tomorrow will be my 3rd watchDamn. This movie flopped hard. I didn't expect it to do this badly. I feel bad for Bill because this is an embarrassing flop and no actor wants this type of flop on their resume. I wonder what happened?
I expect most theaters will drop it.
It is, he also has another scene, where his having sexIs this him or...?View attachment 142895191
It is. Bill is not shy and has done nude scenes before, and there is no need for them to use a double in such a short sceneIs this him or...?View attachment 142895191
Do you know if theyβre selling more?I bought this beautiful surprisingly high quality print on ebay
Yep. He likely has the same view as his older brother Alexander on nudity. I know Alex mention that he doesnβt understand Americans issue with nudity, especially male, but happy to see a person head blown off. Iβm paraphrasing, but it was something to that effect in an interview during his press tour for that Viking movie. It is. I thibk they just print as requested. You could probably ask if heβd do another. It was like $10 total. Dm me and I can send you their pageDo you know if theyβre selling more?
I think Stellan also did nude scenes, right?Yep. He likely has the same view as his older brother Alexander on nudity. It's him but when the girl touches it, it's fakeStellan goes frontal in quite a few movies,Alexander in True Blood,Bill in Behind Blue Skies(don't remember if it was actually him or a double), Gustaf in VI and Happy Ends went frontal, and Valter has only shown ass. The family certainly isn't afraid of going nude.
Well it would be kinda silly to go through the trouble of getting a body double for 2 seconds of butt LOLIs this him or...?View attachment 142895191
Bill seems to be interested in doing weird/unique roles and movies. He should try to do a couple more blockbustery-types or classic action/romcom movies to raise his profile a bit so his name can attract viewers to his other projects.
Respectfully, you are very out of touch... Boy Kills World had a low budget of $18 million. The Crow had a mid-range budget at $50 million. Neither film were extensively marketed toward or intended for as you say, "Mass Audiences".Boy Kills World and The Crow are Hollywood action movies with substantial budgets and were made for mass audiences. They only have the veneer of being βedgyβ. He really hasnβt done βedgyβ smaller movies or art house projects or interesting television roles to build up his name and industry respect.
Boy Kills World was a South African production and is the most expensive South African movie ever made. So it may be low budget in American standards but it was extremely high for the people who actually financed the movieRespectfully, you are very out of touch... Similar to Bill's other film not even two years ago called "Barbarian" which only had a budget of $4.5 million and ended up making over $40 million in just the US alone.. The studios gambled in hopes these films would gain traction and *take off* but it just didn't happen. Boohoo for the Studios... But I think Bill as an actor is on as solid ground as ever.
Very Interesting. Maybe you could properly direct your issue towards the user/post calling it a "Hollywood" film with a "substantial" budget?Boy Kills World was a South African production and is the most expensive South African movie ever made.
