If the person giving has sores in his/her mouth or bleeding gums and has any disease, the CDC says you could get what they have. I would say to make sure the person isn't infected. There are guys that insist on being sucked with a condom and I don't argue with them. If they prefer a condom then I'm okay with sucking them with a condom. Hopefully it's an ultra thin condom but if it's not I'll sometimes have the roll the condom up to just a 3rd of the shaft so that the tip is covered and part of the shaft. Even without him cumming in your mouth you are still at risk of having an STI from unprotected oral because there is still a transmission of fluids such as precum. HIV is not commonly transmittable via oral unless the giver has cuts/sores in their mouth since HIV is transmissible via blood. If you are actively having sex with multiple partners, or having sex with one person who has sex with multiple partners it is recommended you get tested for STIs/HIV every three months.
