It will vary from culture to culture of course, so if you do get a book, be sure to get one written in your country.

For US females, exposing the neck (as in tilting the head to one side) is a sign as is the hair flip etc. These things have been studied and catalogued and validated many many times, so yes a book can help clue you in to things you might not have known to look for before.

it's just flirting.
lots of people flirt, even when they're not really interested.
it's meant to be fun and make everyone feel good.
i'm sure you must know married men who compliment and charm all the ladies but would never dream of cheating.

coming on to you would be far more intense and unmistakable.

that makes sence, really I was just looking for confirmation that it is indeed flirting
what do you, as a woman consider intense and umistakable 'hitting' on then because low level flirting tends to miss me altogether

not sure how 'intensely' to flirt back tho being we work together

Oh another thing, a woman is more likely to laugh at your jokes if she's interested in you...

well I make most women laugh my sence of humor is one of my strengths personality wise, tho I will say this one girl in particular seems to laugh just a little harder and more freely then the other ladies at my jokes in particular

Guys, if a woman is interested in you... you get her attention and usually all of it. What you do with it is up to you.

I do get a lot of her attention, she will usually stop what she is doing when I am around (if it isn't anything pressing) and chat with me breifly

If a woman finds you attractive she will do something to get your attention indirectly. A flip of her hair, a tiny smile at you, moving around to stay in your line of sight, something.
After your initial come-on (not giving away my line) start paying attention and watch her reactions. The reactions will be subtle but simple. Things like leaning in closer, crossing her legs with to top leg in your direction, slow blinking, or maybe touching herself (not like that... nasty minds) touching her face or her neck or some other visible part of her skin, etc... Whatever it is, it will be small.

what about turning around pointing to her butt and asking me if I don't pay attention to her underwear choices and corresponding lack of pantylines...

I was hoping that we could continue a lively debate on this.

me to, I find this very interesting
I normally would want to really focus on womens responces but half the time I think women miss some of the things they do when they like a guy
the one thing I tend to use, and please tell me if this seems wrong, is I ask myself "would she behave like this if her b/f was around" to me if the answer is yes it's innocent and if the answer is no it still may be innocnet but is 100% surely flirting

Body language isn't only flirtatious, but revealing. A woman touches her hot spts; her neck, her thigh, her arm, biting those lips, and then they move at a rhythm to be noticed. Body language is way more important than what someone says.

I am an artist of sorts. I observe these things sensually. Others minds work logically. Maybe yours does, but just grab up a coffee in a crowded place and watch. There's a lot more than a book can tell.

Yes, when a girl laughs a little louder when you make jokes, then probably it's a good sign. Do you like her?

Um, oh? I didn't catch that. I really didn't. Where in this thread did he say she was married? I am lost now.
my mistake. she has a bf, not a husband.

but IMO it's the same deal. you just shouldn't go there with someone who isn't free & single.

It depends. What type of ass does she have? If she has a fine bubble butt then there is only one thing to do.... Just give me her phone number and I'll handle the rest :biggrin1: Or you can try complamenting her butt and give it a playful spank when no one is looking.

does anyone have a link (or even the name of a book) I could pick up that is a good guide to reading body language
especially female flirting type body language

Not quite body language, but Emotions Revealed by Paul Ekman shows facial cues towards what someone's thinking. Lie to Me the show is based on his work.

Pupils dilate

They will get in your "space" eg right up next to you. May seem insignificant but its a big step. Every animal gives others space. The only times space is invaded is for aggression, 'bonding' or mating purposes.

They will touch you. Similar to above but one step beyond.

Playing with hair

Biting their lip

They'll ask you to buy them drinks. A LOT

VERY much

she's married, so hopefully whether he likes her or not doesn't make any difference.

she's not married actually I'm talking about women I work with in general with this thread some are married of course but the one specifically that I am thinking of now as we close in on specific behaviors in fact isn't

I will look into that, the subject matter is overall interesting to me now that I have began researching it even if it isn't quite what I am looking for

I get a lot of the above from my female coworkers in general

anyway I'm not intending to go after this girl, what I am trying to do is learn if I am correct in assuming that the signs I have been receiving are in fact, invitational or flirtations (depending to what degree) so I can know for future reference
