Bravo's Below Deck

The whole Kyle thing made me like him less and I was a big fan. It showed him as a selfish twat. I'm sure after watching this Kerry was pissed. It also opens things up for a SA allegation, if that guest wanted to play it that way. I'm sure her cuck husband took money off the tip after that beach excursion.

I hate to see Fraser seeing this guys as entertainment and have the rest of the crew ohh amd ahh over the performance. They teased us with the "Date" with Damo then showed that he wans't going for Fraser, that was unnecessary. Them showing gay men as a gimmick is tiring and bullshit. I wish Fraser would have a little bit more self respect. I Mean losing a BF over kissing a straight guy? Really?
Naah. He just was getting to see the Easter Bunny or Father Christmas more than his own BF. That is a hard situation. Long distance can work, but you still have to be willing to make an effort to catch up now and then, which did not seem to be happening. And these days mobiles are sophisticated enough to see each other IRL as much as tech allows. Sometimes you have to make a decision.
By the way I know it does seem like it is written or directed, but I did like Fraser showing an actual interest in the welfare of his girls and being willing to persist with Solene, ("mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun" from Noel Coward's song, which implies that only foolish or eccentric people would expose themselves to extreme conditions...) I reckon she would be game.

Fraser was instigating a situation or rather forcing something to happen between the Lesbians. He should be more concerned with his own love/sex life.

Damo is such a tease!!! He lost points for not following Bro code. Bros over Ho's, when he made out with Solene.

Has anyone else noticed that all the Crew named Kyle are what we call problem childs? Every. Single. One.

Rate this current season of Below Deck from 1 to 5:

1. One of the best seasons, loved every minute.

2. It was good, kept me interested until the end.

3. Meh. Snoozefest.

4. Def not one of their best efforts. Easily forgettable.

5. Boring and tiresome. I never thought anything could make me look forward to seeing Capt. Sandy.

Feel free to add comments about why you rated it as you did.

The franchise has been around long enough that it doesn't feel very real anymore. All the crew kind of come in now as a character and they play that, probably in hopes of transitioning into an enduring reality TV star. Likewise, they seem to be trying too hard to find outrageous guests and it seems like manufactured drama that ultimately just feels absurd.
