Bravo's Below Deck

4

The franchise has been around long enough that it doesn't feel very real anymore. All the crew kind of come in now as a character and they play that, probably in hopes of transitioning into an enduring reality TV star. Likewise, they seem to be trying too hard to find outrageous guests and it seems like manufactured drama that ultimately just feels absurd.
💯

Right? And every time the said someone name - the instagram photo scroll was cringe
God please stop, I'm trying to get over that awful part of the editing and it pops back in my head every time I blink. 😂 Why, just why did they decide to do the IG scroll every. Single. Time.

We know their names, their roles, how they look, the names of their pets, their spouses, their spouses secret spouses. The only thing we could possibly be missing is their social security.

How do you really feel?

One word describes the entire season, overproduced. If this happens to any of the other franchises they're all going downhill. There is no reason to have so many setup shots of food being cut, washed, the boat being hosed down in slow motion, etc. I don't need to see Kyle or Solene ever again. They're not bad people, they just ran their course.

The overproduction started on Below Deck Down Under, but the show was still good overall. The photo collages on Below Deck as everyone has mentioned is just excessively redundant. Less is more. The cast itself this season just ruined the show for me somehow. I had a hard time continuing to watch and actually skipped the episode with the guest humping fake drama.

I hope Below Deck Med is enjoyable.

The only gay kiss we got to see this season was Damo and Fraser. I will never trust a trailer again.

Not only that, the build up to that was ZERO. The previews suggested that there was at least banter or some dare. Suddenly there was any kind of interest shown from Fraser and they kiss, prompting Fraser to break up with his boyfriend and then they never mentioned it again. Then they kissed again in the finale, again with no build up. But in this setting, I kinda understand because everyone was kissing everyone.

That being said, Damo & Fraser looked more hot than Fraser & Stillie. Fraser even said on WWHL that Stillie kissed because he had to kiss and Damo got more into it.

Bravo shows aren't usually done editing when the shows begin airing. So what happens is trailers are made from "raw" footage rather than completed episodes. So that's why a lot of scenes shown in trailers aren't on the show it's cause they are different teams doing both

Rate this current season of Below Deck from 1 to 5:

1. One of the best seasons, loved every minute.

2. It was good, kept me interested until the end.

3. Meh. Snoozefest.

4. Def not one of their best efforts. Easily forgettable.

5. Boring and tiresome. I never thought anything could make me look forward to seeing Capt. Sandy.

Feel free to add comments about why you rated it as you did.
4, even tho other seasons are a reality show, they feel like a show about yachting with some drama on the side to spicy things up, this season felt fake, over edited, the cast sucked, specially Kerry, the worst chief stew and his cringey chef friend, and I couldn’t take more of rainbou calling herself “bro and dude” and the whole Solene drama, “ i like her, i dont like her, now im kissing her, now i dont like her cuz shes kissing someone else but i dont care, but i do care” 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
