Bushism?

This is a classic

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we. "

"Dealing with Congress is a matter of give and take. The president doesn't get everything he wants, the Congress doesn't get everything they want. But we're finding good common ground. A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it. "

Statement, Washington, DC, 26/7/2001

"All of us in America want there to be fairness when it comes to justice."—Washington, D.C., Sept. 20, 2007

I think that the funniest ones have already been quoted. Here is a less well-known one that GWB uttered in the course of his interview with Scott Pelley on Sixty Minutes a year ago (Jan. 14, 2008):

"You can't get elected unless at least fifty percent of the people who vote say we want you in office."

Alas, his interviewer lacked either the presence of mind or the balls to say, "But, Mr. President, by that standard, you were not elected in 2000."
