Anyone know how much cardio helps erections. I know everyone always says exercise helps and I think they're right. I lift weights but rarely get good cardio like I used to when I played sports in high school. So I never get cardio that lasts like an hour.

I've noticed that my erections seem to be worse than they used to be. Less frequent and not as often, or as full. I've also noticed that my soft size seems to be smaller. I really think the lack of cardio is having something to do with it. I'm not overweight but I just used to be healthier.

Hard to go run for an hour without an objective like when ur playing a sport though. Also hard when u have to work all the time.

Anyone else notice this?

I would say that cardio is effective with keeping longer erections, but I'm not sure if it has that much of an impact on size. Ultimately, cardio improves circulations and that's the most important part of getting and keeping erections. The better the blood flows, the better the penis functions. I would say the more blood you get to circulate through your penis, you might possibly see a noticable difference, but it more likely varies differently between men. For me, I don't see a size difference, but I do notice that when I'm hard, I stay harder longer. Also cumming feels amazing after doing cardio for awhile, at least for me.

Weightlifting in itself is good at improving erection quality even if doesnt come along with cardio.. The Testosterone release trigged with the main exercises for large muscle masses is something that can be clearly told by the frequency and the quality of the erections whren on a weightlifting regimen... But, and it is a big but, you have to do the right exercises like Squat, Bench press , Deadlift.. with the right repetions range and rest pause.. also you have to avoid to bulk to much eating junk food or a huge intake of calories otherwise you are gonna load your whole system and affect erection as well

The objective is a harder more healthy penis now run Forrest run.

I recently read about a study that showed that 150 minutes per week of vigorous exercise (running etc) was just as effective as Viagra in the treatment of ED

I don't think you'd find many people who would argue that cardio isn't good for erections. More than just the positive effects on your cardiopulmonary system, it helps create a chemical environment in your brain that is amenable to getting horny. :)

Cardio is everything. Not quite 50 but I'm still good for 5 times a day. I ride bikes too, 150+ miles a week.

The athletic crowd do talk about this. The women do report a huge difference in ability to perform and quality of erections, between middle aged athletes and non-athletes that they've been with.

Cardio also prevents diabetes, probably the leading cause of ED.

A lot of good posts in here. I have also noticed (long time power lifter, not a ton of cardio) that when I did high school sports my erections were better from all the running, and my flaccid hung lower and fuller than it does now. We should try it for 2-4 weeks and see if we notice an improvement...we definitely will though.

I'm sold after reading some of these posts. I knew I needed more cardio!

I always thought that weightlifting would mean better erections and orgasms since you increase your testosterone.

I have done weeks of just cardio and weeks of just weightlifting.

What I have noticed is that cardio improves erections and sex, weightlifting seems to improve my confidence and sometimes I stick up for myself during times I would just let something go.

But yeah cardio makes my dick insanely hard and orgasms are so nice. I'm only 27 though.

I'm 51, ride six days a week and teach five spin classes a week. Cardio is king for me; although, I cant screw all night long as I could when I was twenty, but I still can orgasm three or four times per encounter. I do use Viagra but my dose has gone down to 25 or less mg. Run, cycle, do what ever it takes, and tell your doctor you want athlete type exam blood test results.

Yeah definitely cardio but I think the lifting is just as important. There really should be a good balance of both. A good strong leg day in the gym is an huge shot of natural testosterone. Can't beat it.
The harder I work my legs the more I get woken up with with a big fat woody.

I seem to get better erections and can enjoy more orgasms than men my age are supposed to. This is my formula:

1) I eat 3 healthy meals daily, eating several fruits and vegetables . I eat a small amount of protein once or twice a day!
2) I maintain my weight at the moderate level it was at age 21.
3) I exercise by walking, swimming or biking 60-100 minutes daily and do exercises as well.
4) I exercise my cock by jelquing it almost every day for 30 minutes.
5) I cum at least once a day to keep my cock in opereational condition!!
6) I belong to LPSG, so I can keep tabs on how I compare with you young guys!

I was just throwing in my input because I stuck to almost exclusively weight lifting for the past 9 years. I am benching close to the 500 range. I nixed cardio completely besides what I got in the very high rep leg workouts (sometimes 45 rep sets of presses, squats, whatever) and I definitely think I would get harder easier with more cardio. I perform more than fine now and could go a few times if I wanted, but they aren't the long lasting, unprovoked diamond cutters (think the kind where you wonder: "When is it going to go away"?) type that happen every morning and at times where they "shouldn't".

I have definitely noticed that when I really push myself at squats or leg press I seem to get erections easier. The only problem is I've hurt my neck and back a few times doing squats. But yeah it really does seem to help with the blood flow down there.

So I'm gonna start doing more cardio, working out my legs more and incorporate some jelqing techniques I've gotten tips on in here.

I find that cardio does really help with erections. Playing basketball for an hour really gets me going down there the next day.

Also I find doing sprints really helps tone up the body

What helps me is doing Ellipticals commando, nothing b/n my junk and my gym shorts. i let it hang and swing around in there and a semi gets worked up eventually. After awhile, my cock just got used to that reaction when i just go commando at home or anywhere. When i'm ready for a big night w/ a chick, going commando is my trick! Plus, it's quick easy access for her to go straight to the goods!
