I've never seen a source for it but I've seen people in the fandom claim that Chris wanted to be shirtless in that scene in Civil War where he grabs the helicopter but the Russos declined.

As much as I'd have loved the visual, I don't really see there being a good narrative reason for him not to be wearing a shirt in that scene. It's not like Bucky's escape attempt came in the middle of a clothing change for him or anything.

You’re right. Besides, isn’t the tattoo on the backside of his ankle (unless there’s another I’m unaware of)? so it wouldn’t even appear if the photo was showing his right ankle, also his calf would be in the way
