I've never seen a source for it but I've seen people in the fandom claim that Chris wanted to be shirtless in that scene in Civil War where he grabs the helicopter but the Russos declined.
I low-key wonder if it's because of Kevin Feige's alleged anti-body hair agenda. Maybe Chris hated having to shave off his glorious chest hair for the first Cap movie and didn't want to do it again.
